Adorable 850 sf rustic cottage apartment w/cathedral ceilings & natural lighting. Nestled in the woods, less than 5 minutes from town and 10 minutes from the air station and lake. Short drive to downtown art expo and museums. Pond with a dock and a pavilion. Space for all to run, play, or sit back and build a fire to enjoy the view & quietness of the area. There may be small farm animals at the back of the property (away from rental) if you’d like to experience them (seasonal). Grill provided. Our place will have everything you need from kitchen supplies to extra blankets! Full access of the apartment. The space has a full kitchen, full bath, living area, Office/study/extra bedroom, deck, and balcony with a grill. Access to the pond and farm animals (on the other side of the main home) are welcome as long as we communicate beforehand. Children have to be accompanied by adult. If at any time the children do not follow the rules around the animals or property, they will no longer be able to observe the area. The keypad entry lock combination will be given to you on the day of booking. Come and go as you please and enjoy! We can be as removed or interactive as you’d like. We will be in the main house, which is detached and a short walk from the apartment. We enjoy visiting guests, but also respect your privacy. We’ll be a phone call/text/knock on the door away if needed. The home is in a very safe and sought after location in the area. Close to everything. A list of things to do nearby (lakes, campgrounds, museums, art exhibits, confederate cemeteries, restaurants, etc.) will he left for you in the rental. A map of the area, along with take out menus and info on our favorite restaurants and places to visit will be available upon your arrival. Breakfast items are normally provided. We communicate with guests prior to their arrival to make arrangements to accomodate to likes/dislikes and food allergies. If you forgot to pack something, let us know! We keep extras so you guys don’t have to worry and have a stress free stay!
