Enjoy our tiny slice of the Hill Country located just minutes away from Wimberley, Driftwood, and local breweries, wineries, shops, bars and wonderful restaurants. Our tiny house, which we call the Al-"pine" is a true labor of love. It was custom built from scratch by us and offers an astonishing amount of space for its size. We think the Alpine is the perfect getaway for couples or individuals and offers modern summer camp vibes but with AC! The space General: - *NEW* As of June 2023, we have added a small cowboy pool that is available from May-October. The pool is slightly chlorinated and has a filter pump that runs 8 hours a day. -Mini-split AC unit provides cooling and heating to keep you comfortable in both hot and cold months -The main level has a sitting area with a custom sofa and a place to eat, play games and hang out -There is currently no WiFi, but most mobile networks have decent signals for hot spots and phones if you must connect. -The tiny house is 160 sq. ft. downstairs and an additional 50 sq. ft. sleeping loft for a total living space of 210 sq. ft. Please remember that it’s a tiny home so some things might be smaller than you are used to. Kitchen: - Single burner electric cooktop - Mini-fridge (no freezer) - Pot, frying pan, spatula, tongs, and cooking spoon - Keurig coffee maker with assorted K-cups - Cups, bowls, plates, and silverware for eating *Please note that this is not your traditional home kitchen and there may be a few limitations. We have salt & pepper and olive oil, but you will need to bring your own seasoning/spices if you think you will need them. We also have an outdoor propane grill for any grilling needs. Bathroom: - Flushing toilet - Walk-in shower - Bathroom Sink - Soap, shampoo, body wash and conditioner is provided along with fresh towels and linens - The tiny home has a 7 gallon water heater, which is standard for small spaces, but if you like to take longer showers, this may not be the space for you. *IMPORTANT* We are on a septic-system so please be kind and do not flush anything down that is not #1, #2, or toilet paper. Bedroom: -Custom built stairs to the cozy loft bedroom -Memory-foam queen mattress -Charging ports on both sides of the bed for phones and other devices *Please note that you will have to climb stairs to reach the loft Water: We do not have city or well water so we haul our water in. Because of this, please be mindful of your usage while you are visiting and try to limit your water consumption. Outdoor Living: -Hammock -Fire Pit with chairs -Wrap around deck with patio set -Picnic Table -Propane Grill *IMPORTANT* You may not use the fire pit if the city has issued a burn-ban. We will notify you prior to check-in if this is the case. Guest access After you enter through the gate, pull in and park in the designated parking area. There are neighbors close by but the area is fenced in for privacy. We ask that you stay near our tiny house and do not wander onto neighboring properties. Please be a cool guest and be mindful of your noise levels outside. Other things to note - The property can accommodate up to two guests max in one queen bed. The loft bed is the only bed and is only accessible by stairs. - The property features a lit path with three steps that lead from the property grounds to the patio and home. - No parties, no pets allowed. - No smoking allowed inside the tiny house. - We are always available via text message if you need us during your stay.
