Come and unwind in our newly renovated Lilly Hall Hopkiln located at our top class racehorse yard just outside the pretty market town of Ledbury. Nestled in 70 acres of beautiful Herefordshire countryside with spectacular views towards the Much Marcle Ridge and Gloucestershire's May Hill, it's the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and ideally located for walks in the Malvern Hills, a race day at Cheltenham, exploring the Brecon Beacons and so much more.... The space Lilly Hall Hopkiln is a stylish and very comfortable newly renovated 3 bedroom cottage set within the peaceful grounds of our home and racehorse yard, Ed de Giles Racing. Ground Floor: Bedroom 1: with zip and link twin beds (can be super king size on request). Bedroom 3: pretty single sleigh bed (please note it has a 182cm mattress and the bed has a footboard) with playing cards and board games in the chest of drawers. Bathroom 1: bath with shower over, loo, underfloor heating and heated towel rail. Utility: large utility with washing machine, separate dryer, clothes drying racks, ironing board/iron and drinks fridge. Access to the Hopkiln garden with seating area, bbq, fire pit, use of tennis court and spectacular views of rolling fields full of racehorses, mares and foals and the beautiful hills beyond. First Floor: Living area: a stunning open plan beamed living space with dining area, Freeview smart TV and Bluetooth speaker. Kitchen: fully equipped kitchen and well stocked with essentials and some bread, croissants, milk, locally made apple juice, butter, bacon, eggs, jam and granola. There is a dishwasher, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine with pods. Bathroom 2: Shower, loo, underfloor heating and heated towel rail. Second Floor: Bedroom 2: Master Bedroom with double bed and Roberts radio. Lilly Hall Hopkiln is fully gas central heated with bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. There is a hairdryer and electric fan in all the bedrooms. There is body wash and shampoo in both bathrooms. On arrival you will be greeted by our 2 very friendly lurchers and terrier. There are also ducks, chickens, and racehorses in the fields, so it's the perfect place to come and stay for animal lovers! A tour of our yard and facilities can be arranged. However due to the close proximity of the racehorses in the fields to the Hopkiln our property is unfortunately not suitable for pets. As travel cots and safety gates are not provided, and there are unfenced ponds close to the Hopkiln, it is ideally suited to children over 8 yrs. Please contact us prior to booking if your children are below the age of 8 yrs. When booking with infants (under 2 yrs) please add them as children over 2 yrs as we do charge the £15 additional per guest charge for infants (when you are more than 2 guests). Extra charge for charging of electric cars. Strictly no parties, hen or stag nights permitted. Please see my Lilly Hall Hopkiln Guidebook for information about the local area. Guest access Lilly Hall Hopkiln has it's own large gravel parking area in front of the house, with guests having access to the Hopkiln's garden behind and use of our tennis court. There is no access along the track past the Hopkiln, our garden, racehorse yard or fields. Other things to note Lilly Hall Hopkiln is ideally located for the many Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Monmouthshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire attractions. If you're a lover of racehorses you will be spoilt with views all around of thoroughbreds in our fields, or riding past your front door on morning exercise. A perfect start to a day at the races at Cheltenham Racecourse, which is just a 35 minute drive away, or Hereford, Worcester and Chepstow Racecourses. For lovers of walking we are surrounded by spectacular walks in the Malvern Hills, along the River Wye at Symonds Yat, Abergavenny's Sugarloaf walk and many more in the Brecon Beacons National park. There are also numerous activities such as canoeing down the beautiful River Wye, bicycling in the Forest of Dean, horse riding in the stunning countryside, and so much more. We are surrounded by excellent pubs and restaurants, and the pretty market town of Ledbury is only a 5 minute drive away. Please see our Guidebook for more information on the area and fun activities.
