Nonna’s Nest, a lovely quiet coastal rural retreat

Nonna's nest is a lovely recently renovated self contained annex with its own private enclosed garden. It is located in a quiet village setting in the heart of magical west Cornwall (Poldark mining territory!). It is close to the South West coastal path & Pendeen lighthouse. You can see the sea and Moorland from the garden. Dogs are welcome. There is Wi-Fi & offroad dedicated parking. You will love the beauty of the local area and will discover why my father moved from Italy to settle here! The space Nonna's nest is perfectly located to explore the beautiful area of Penwith. The Minack Theatre, St.Ives, Lands End, Cape Cornwall, St.Michael's mount, Sennen beach, Porthcurno beach are all within a 30 min drive. Nonna's nest is located close to the South West coastal path. Nonna's nest is a self contained annex located in the grounds of an old Trease Mine Captain's House, in the area where the horses used to be kept. It has its own enclosed private garden and its own car parking space. There is a well equipped modern kitchen so you can prepare meals. Nonna's nest is also a 5 min walk away from the well stocked Pendeen local shop. The village has a pub serving food, and a local Meadery. Geevor cafe is also a very good place that offers good quality food at reasonable prices and a lovely view too! St.Just is a short drive away and this small town has several pubs, Chinese takeaway and cafes. The bathroom is new and has a good shower with a plentiful supply of hot water. Nonna's nest has an enclosed patio garden where you can enjoy al fresco meals and a drink at the end of the day. There are coastal sea glimpses and views of the Moorland from the enclosed garden. The bedroom has a comfortable Double bed. A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request. There is Wi-Fi, please note as is common in remote rural areas the speed can vary so please contact me before booking if you want to know Wi-Fi speeds. Guest access Nonna's nest is its own self contained annex with its own private garden. Guests are respectfully asked not to use the gardens of the main house except to use the hose in back garden if you need to wash off a muddy dog! Guests are left alone to enjoy Nonna's nest. I live in the main house and so am at hand to deal with any issues. Other things to note A high chair and travel cot can be provided on request.
