Log Lodge is one of more than 20 different guest properties in which families can stay; it is located on a ranch that serves as a meeting space for camps, conferences, school groups, and families. The ranch has an abundance of amenities, including waterfront and pool access, canoes, hiking/biking trails, nature observation areas, a historic 35-foot water slide, and multiple sport facilities. Although the ranch is a shared space, there is plenty of room on the 500-acres to relax and unwind. Scattered throughout the property, there are traces of its beginnings as a working ranch as well as relics dating from its unique past. The ranch is home to many impressive buildings with one-of-a-kind details. These lodges were constructed primarily using Hill Country limestone, ornamental ironwork, San Jose tiles, and retired oilfield pipes. One can easily get lost admiring the scenic Texas overlooks and crystal clear Guadalupe river while exploring all the ranch has to offer. Although cell phone service is limited on the ranch, WiFi is available in most facilities. Maps are provided in the registration building that detail all spaces with WiFi access. There are neither televisions nor telephones in the rooms to help create a more peaceful environment for you, our guests. This intentional design allows you to unplug from technology and make meaningful connections with those around you. Guest access The home you'll be staying in is your private quarters.
