Steller's Nest: A Cozy Treetop Cabin - Hot Tub!!

Welcome to Steller's Nest! This cozy little cabin in the trees is the perfect romantic getaway or quiet family retreat - located just minutes from downtown Idyllwild and several popular trailheads. Spend your days relaxing on the deck with a book, listening to some vintage vinyl, or maybe even a jam session on the guitar! Get cozy by the fire at night, take a dip in the hot tub and check out the amazing star-gazing Idyllwild has to offer with our telescope…. time to fall in love with Idyllwild! The space Steller’s Nest is a newly renovated, two-story cabin built in 1951 full of mountain charm and character. The home sits on a half acre property, with three separate outdoor lounge areas & a wildflower garden (when Mother Nature allows it!). The upstairs is full of sunlight and a great breeze. We have lots of squirrels and birds that will keep you entertained all day, and you can even catch deer & bobcats roaming the property & walking down the street. Enjoy your mornings on the upper deck in the sun, with a cup of coffee, and maybe some yoga. We have a view of lily rock from the upstairs deck. The treetop and mountain views from the deck are serenity! Both bedrooms have access to the upper deck. Property overview: Lower level - Living area and kitchen Upper level - master bedroom, loft bedroom, bathroom, and closet area Exterior - Shaded lower level deck with outdoor seating, picnic table, and a hot tub with privacy screen. **New** Fully Fenced in backyard with dining table for 4 & cornhole game. (5ft fence with direct access from our back kitchen door & two side gates to access other parts of the property) Large upper level deck with access from both bedrooms - offers outdoor sectional, 2 chaise lounge chairs, umbrellas, and bistro table for 2. Hammock, Adirondack chairs, & picnic table in main yard. We do not have a washer/ dryer at the house, but we do have supplies to wash items by hand & line dry if needed. There is a laundry mat in town as well as a local laundry pickup service if needed during your stay. Please inquire :) Please note, the second bedroom with the bunk bed and full size bed is not a private room. It is a loft style room, and access to the bathroom and master bedroom is through this room. We have a fully fenced backyard We have a 'Celestron One Sky' Telescope for our guests to use We have a Guitar & Nintendo Classic for guests to use.. enjoy! We have 2 fishing poles and some fishing gear for guest use. There is a hot tub on the lower deck with a locking cover (no fence or gate around hot tub). If you are staying with an infant or pet, please be sure to inform me ahead of time so I can ensure everything is setup accordingly. There is an outdoor noise monitor that will alert us when outside noise levels become excessive. (This is required by the county) You will be contacted by the host immediately and asked to lower the outside volume. Failure to comply will result in immediate removal from the property with no refund. All guests must comply with Riverside County Ordinances: 847 - Noise - no loud outdoor noises, speakers, loud voices, etc 915 - Outdoor lighting - outdoor lighting cannot pollute our neighbors. 847 - Excessive dog barking - If this occurs, you will be asked to remove the pet from the property. All pets must be secured at all times. 927 - Short Term Rental Regulations Any guest who violates the above ordinances may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund & are subject to county citations.
