No neighbors! It’s not a big or fancy place but it’s clean, simple, and relaxing. The stars are brightest in the country when enjoying the fire pit. Our two story cabin has 1BR with two double beds, full kitchen, full bathroom, recliners, and grills. It's perfect for couples, friends, or small families. The Ark Encounter, Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland, and several distilleries are all within an hour of the cabin. This is a great place to relax between visits to these attractions. The space The cabin has become a destination for us and our family and friends to meet! We've spent a lot of time around the camp fire and grilling outside with some pretty good meals. We usually open up the front double doors to the cabin, play some music and enjoy the evenings by the fire. It is clean, simple, and relaxing. No neighbors. Sorry but we don't have WiFi. Outside, you're surrounded by woods with a small creek to the left of the entrance at the bottom of the hill. Please don't venture too far away from the cabin as the north and east property lines are within a few hundred yards. The stocked woodpile and fire pit are my favorite parts of the place. With a picnic table and benches you’re sure to enjoy the peaceful starlit nights around the fire. With no cities of size within 20 miles, the stars are very bright on a clear night. Upstairs is the one bedroom with two double beds. It's comfortable with 2-4 friends or family. You can sleep with the windows open, or use the air conditioner upstairs if needed. An electric heater is also there if things get chilly. A full size air mattress and kids pack n play are stored behind the stair rail if you need them for extra people. The air mattress would take up most of the living room space downstairs if needed but comes in handy in a pinch. The kitchen has a stove, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, toaster, coffee maker and double sink. We have the basic pots/pans, silverware, and cooking utensils needed for cooking inside or grilling outside on our Weber charcoal grill, gas grill, or fire pit grate. Complimentary charcoal is provided. Lastly, for the conventional coffee maker, we provide complimentary coffee with sugar and creamers for your use. The living room has two recliners, loveseat, three stool bar, and flat screen TV with sound bar. Basic Direct TV channels and a standard DVD player with a variety of movies are provided. Sometimes we use the 800 block of channels for background music while leaving the front doors open to the outside area. A child's high chair is upstairs behind the dresser if needed. Lastly, the bathroom is on the lower level of the cabin. The shower has a standard spray head. The bathroom has fresh towels, wash clothes, hair dryer, and ironing board for your use with complimentary shampoo and shower soap. Guest access Everything there is accessible. Note we do not have WiFi. Other things to note The closest places for any supplies are the Dollar General store, gas station, and very small country restaurant in Corinth 3 miles away, and a Hardee’s and Love’s gas station 6 miles south at the Sadieville exit to I75. Just know it’s not a quick trip to go out to eat so you may want to bring some groceries if your not wanting to travel 20 minutes north or south to Dry Ridge or Georgetown. We have a Weber charcoal grill with a complimentary bag of Matchlight charcoal and a gas grill in addition to the stove/microwave and full kitchen. The cabin has city water which is safe to drink. Also, we live in Florence, KY, about 40 minutes north of the cabin. My parents live on the farm about a mile away and can always help us out if we are ever in a pinch to get you something you need.
