Local artists are featured inside while outside you will enjoy the decks, catwalk, and gardens under a canopy of mature trees. The back of the house is perched on the hillside, 40 feet above the wooded ravine. The water features and native plants create an urban wildlife and birdwatcher's paradise. You will be amazed this exists in the center of the city. Two stories, 1300 sqft, and expansive decks make the place seem quite large. Up the spiral staircase, you can lay in the king size memory foam bed and look at the tree tops and stars through four large skylights. The desk space has the feel of working in a treehouse. Downstairs, you will find a new bathroom that features a sliding door glass shower and natural light - shower in the tree tops. The contemporary kitchen, appliances, and furniture blend well with the vintage features salvaged from a turn of the century train depot. Please note: the property is on a hill with ponds, decks, and the spiral staircase - it is not small child friendly - 12 and up please. We are in the center of the city, so you can expect some car noise but the house is well insulated so it will not bother your sleep!
