We spent the entire weekend on the lake. Swimming, canoeing, spending time on the dock watching the boats go by, playing cards at the picnic table on the water, lounging while the sun sets, a beach fire under thousands of stars. We had a perfect, quiet, weekend away. There is a beautiful grill for a summer bbq! We used it for almost every meal. The cottage was perfect for us and our needs; we spent most of our time outside by the lake, but lots of towels, clean linens, dish and cooking ware and comfy beds for crashing after a day in the sun. Beach-level family cottage set back amongst trees, with large flat grassy area leading to the shoreline. Cozy, simple cottage designed in the 1960's, in unspoiled and spacious natural setting, flanked by two bays with waterfalls/gorges on either side of point. Guest access full access to private extensive beach/point, dock, cottage, lake shed and equipment, wooded areas, Other things to note - WATER - we supply filtered drinking water for you as we don't recommend drinking tap water at the cottage. It is fine to cook with however. - no wifi, however cell service is excellent (hot spots work great) - canoe and kayak on premises, as well as life jackets, water shoes, floaties and other water toys/equipment - great swimming and fishing on the lake
