The Art Nouveau half-timbered house was extensively renovated in 2019 and transformed into a holiday home with three apartments. You can visit us alone or as a large group of up to 14 people. We have focussed on loving details, practical installations and the use of natural materials. The 3000 qm plot includes 400 qm of meadow and a wooded slope with an extraordinary tree house. The Design vacation home is located in the countryside near the national park Harz. The space The 58 m² apartment on the ground floor offers sleeping space for a total of 6 people in two rooms. The fourth room houses a very large and inviting communal kitchen with seating for up to 14 people. There is also a bathroom with a shower. The sleeping facilities per room: 1 double bed plus sofa bed, 1 single bed, 2 sleeping places in alcoves. Direct access from the kitchen and bedroom to the terrace. The 68 m² apartment in the first floor offers sleeping space for up to 8 people. This apartment also has a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. You can reach the balcony through two rooms. Sleep facilities: 1 double bed, 2 sleep places in alcoves, 1 double bed of stacked beds (expandable to 4 sleep places). The entire house is heated by central heating and has access to Wifi. The bathrooms have windows and showers. The kitchens feature an electric stove with ceramic hob and oven, a refrigerator, a dishwasher and a coffee machine. A baby cot and a high chair are available. Outdoor furniture and sun loungers, a barbecue and a fire bowl are available for outdoor use. We also have book and games for bad weather. Smoking is not allowed in the entire building. Pets can be brought on request for a small fee (due to the cleaning costs). Guest access Dear guests, With the booking you have access to the ground floor and the 1st floor. Furthermore, the garden and the adjacent forest can be used. Please pay attention to the vegetation in the forest and garden. Please do not remove wood for the fire bowl in the forest. The apartment in the attic is not available. When booking, we do not rent the apartment on the top floor to any other guests. Occasionally, however, the apartment is used by someone from the family. We hope you enjoy your stay. Other things to note Dear guests, In the attic of the house there is a third apartment. This is not rented to other guests when rented by the groups of the two lower apartments. However, someone from our family may be in the apartment.
