Chalet in Pocono Pines

We have temporary Lake Naomi Club memberships available for the summer (but they certainly are not necessary to enjoy the many nearby offerings of the Poconos.) We’ve set up our 3BR (with an additional den) vacation house for folks who crave a change of pace. We have desks and blazing fast internet to balance work and life. Hygge is Danish for a feeling of coziness that creates comfort and contentment. We hope that you’ll feel that way here. The space We wanted to create an nurturing environment for working families who could use a change of pace and scenery. It’s been a crazy last two years of balancing family and work - why not juggle it all in a beautiful, nourishing, welcoming place like Lake Naomi? We had remote workers and those with flexible work schedules (like us!) and their kiddos in mind when we set up the house. There are two adult-sized desks in the house - one in a ground floor bedroom and one in a second floor bedroom. The wifi is fast and works well outside for Zooms from the deck. The ground floor has a family room with a Room and Board sectional, a TV (where you can use your own Netflix account, etc.), and an air hockey table. This floor also has one bedroom, one den, a full bathroom, and a washer and dryer. Head upstairs and you will enter the sunny and cheery great room, with a dining area and a kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and glassware for family meal preparation and enjoyment. The great room opens up to a covered deck with a grill, an outdoor dining area, and a hammock for lazy days. There are also two bedrooms and a full bathroom on the second floor. The Lake Naomi area has a calming, centering effect on our family and we would be delighted to share that with your family when we aren’t using the house. During your stay, you may have the option to purchase a temporary membership to the Lake Naomi Club. Temporary memberships are available for stays of one week or longer and run Saturday through Saturday. We only have a limited number of these, so they are subject to availability. We still have a couple for the summer! The extra fee, paid directly to the Lake Naomi Club online, will provide you access to all the amenities of the club, including lake access via multiple private beaches, a tennis complex, 9-hole golf course, basketball courts, archery, three pools (including one indoor open year round), fitness center, hot tubs, sauna and steam room, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, a beach bar and indoor bar with patio and dining at the clubhouse restaurant. Township Registration #- 002426 Guest access The house is yours for the duration of your rental, other than an owner’s closet. Feel free to store your bikes, skis, and other outdoor toys in our garage. Other things to note This is NOT a party house and we only allow families to stay in our vacation house. Lake Naomi is a quiet community, perfect for families with children. No noise of any kind that will affect others in the community is permitted after 10pm weekdays and 11pm weekends. We have an elderly and somewhat fussy next door neighbor, so this is important. Lake Naomi has rangers patrolling 24/7 that fine noise violations, which will be passed on to our renters. The individual making the reservation must be 29 years of age or older and must occupy the rental property the entire time of the reservation. We will want to see your ID at check in. Sorry if this seems onerous, but Lake Naomi is a uniquely peaceful place in the Poconos and we believe it’s worth it. Also: No fireworks. No firearms. No smoking or vaping, even in outdoor areas. And please, no trespassing on Lake Naomi Club amenities without a temporary membership. Finally, there are bears in the area, so, for the safety of everyone, food and trash can never be left outdoors. This is a house for families of all kinds and configurations who will appreciate the unique beauty and tranquility of this very special community and part of the region.
