The Bayshore House is a 4 season timber framed home on 150' of private shoreline of East Grand Traverse Bay in the quaint harbor village of Elk Rapids, Michigan. With 4 Bedrooms and 4 Bathrooms plus generous common areas, the Bayshore House will comfortably accommodate 10 guests. The 2nd Master Bedroom is accessible and includes a roll in shower in the en-suite ADA Bathroom. The location of the Bayshore House is the perfect combination of scenic living and close to unlimited activities. The space Serene setting with 150' of private waterfront on East Grand Traverse Bay. The Bayshore House is within walking distance of downtown Elk Rapids. So much to explore - sandy public beach, children's play area, sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, full service harbor and marina, public parks, ice cream shops, cinema, library, pharmacy, wine shop, pizza parlor, fine dining, art galleries, shopping, antique shops, town club/bar, churches, & medical care. Grocery store is only a mile to the east. We additionally offer our Guests 2 Paddle boards, 2 Kayaks, some adult & child life jackets, children's beach toys, a fleet of 6 adult bikes, 2 youth bikes and numerous lawn games. The Bayshore House is a very comfortable 4 seasons home. ASK ABOUT OUR OFF SEASON RATES. When the snow flies - no problem! The driveway is regularly plowed. Garage parking for 1 car, truck or SUV. Guest access The Bayshore House backyard (street side) is spacious with plenty of parking on the long paved driveway. Garage space for 1 car, truck or SUV. The front yard (bay side) includes an expansive deck with outdoor seating & dining areas, use of the shaded picnic area, complete with oversized table for 8+, a hammock, lush lawn area, sandy beach area with Fire Pit, beach furniture and umbrellas. And we furnish Beach Towels for our Guests convenience. The 150' of private beach is perfect for use of the 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards and numerous beach and lawn toys. Dock your rental personal water craft on our 2 PWC ramps. Water shoes are recommended on the sandy-rocky shoreline - sandy bottom in the water. Downtown Elk Rapids is a short walk (10 minutes) to dining, shopping, art galleries, cinema, library, antiques, coffee shop, the Elk Rapids Harbor and Elk River Marina. Or, ride one of our fleet of 6 bikes to explore. The options are endless! Other things to note Sunday to Sunday weekly rentals during the summer months of June thru August. A signed contract with ALL guests declared is required at Check-in prior to occupancy. Identification or drivers license is required. Guests must meet the Property Manager at Check-in to become familiar with House amenities. No exceptions. The Bayshore House is available for Fall Color Tour weekends or multiple night stays (Friday, Saturday minimum).
