Description

Wanna getaway? Nestled in the hills of old Vermont, our remodelled studio cabin provides the perfect opportunity to unwind and reconnect. Full kitchenette and cozy interior will entice you to slow down and provide a great home base for adventures.. The space **Please print/screen shot directions before hand - DO NOT TRUST CAR GPS, there are various roads that are not suitable for cars that appear on some GPS systems. Cell phone gps tends to be ok.** *refer to our guide book for suggestions on where to stock up on food before your arrival (which we highly recomend as we are in a rural setting), as well as suggestions on where to grab a bite.* Casita Del Sol is to the left at the fork up the hill towards the main house - signage for your convenience. Behind the main house you'll find the chicken coop which houses hour hens and peacock Calypso. They roam free at various times throughout the day so please be sure to have all pets on leash at all times. Our current flock is mostly juvenile hens who aren’t fully laying yet so we won’t have any eggs available until the spring of 2026. In the meantime you can find fresh local eggs at the Chicken Wiggle or the Free Verse Farm shop as well as at most coops around : ) Guest access You will have private access to the entire cabin, fire pit behind cabin, & adjacent uncovered parking spaces. Garage parking can be arranged for those who travel by motorcycle. The rest of the property is shared space, and we welcome you to explore! Other things to note *Winter travel inVT means snow, ice and mud in early spring. AWD or 4WD highly recommended during those timeframes. During mud season (mid March/April), we will update listing availability and cancellation policy as necessary to accommodate safe road conditions. * Our year round brook runs east to west through the property, creating a border between our cleared land and our 17 acres of wild forest. Right past our other cabin - The Luna Cabin, you will find a main entrance to the forest on the edge of the brook. In the coming seasons we will start carving out a few trails but as of now you are welcome to simply let your curiosity run free and forge your own paths. There is another entrance at the top of the property past the chicken coop to the right of the hammocks. These are our neighbors sugaring trails which we are all welcome to explore.
