Check out our unique open concept home tucked into the towering white oaks along Truman Lake featuring a pentagon shaped living and dining area centered around a gorgeous floor to ceiling fireplace and cedar inlaid ceiling and beams. This design is built for entertaining and enjoying time with your friends and family. At over 2200 square feet of living space and almost 1000 square feet of outdoor deck space, everyone will have room to stretch out and truly enjoy the peace and beauty of this area. Spacious kitchen features breakfast bar, new upgraded stainless steel appliances, and everything you could think of for a weekend or a week away. Dual Keurig coffee maker, coffee, creamer, a selection of spices, oils, and condiments provided. Refrigerator with built in ice maker and water dispenser as well as a Brita filtered water pitcher for your use. Glass top five burner stove with combination convection oven and all the bakeware to go with it. Large capacity dishwasher and detergent pods for your entire stay make clean up a breeze! Our living area features high quality leather furniture, beautiful cedar lined vaulted ceilings, ceiling fan, and an electric wood burning fireplace with firewood provided. We have a Roku TV with Hi speed wifi, DVD player, a small library collection, family friendly dvd collection, and CD collection for your use. From the living and dining area, look out through the wrap around four season room filled with comfortable reading chairs paired with a cabinet full of games and puzzles for that occasional rainy day to the gorgeous views that await from our enormous covered deck space perched above the trees. Separate lounge and dining areas on the deck along with oversized propane griddle and gas grill with side burner are there to extend your cooking capabilities and enjoyment of the outdoors. We provide the propane! From the deck, you’ll have the opportunity to watch eagles and large birds of prey overhead, songbirds in the trees, deer, foxes, and little box turtles rumbling through the leaves. You may even catch some scurrying salamanders along the deck rails as they find little places to sunbathe. Sunsets and sunrises are not to be missed as the colors can be quite breathtaking. Two large Queen bedrooms with double oversized closets provide ample space no matter your length of stay. A third queen bed and a twin trundle bed that converts to king is shared in the four season room to take advantage of the beautiful sunrises and includes privacy shades from the rest of the house for a quiet nights sleep. Ceiling fans in each bedroom as well as additional fans for those who need white noise or extra air circulation. Newly installed HVAC in May 2022 is guaranteed to keep you comfortable. The master bath in the main hall is enormous! It has an extra deep four jetted spa tub with soaking crystals and spa bubbles provided, a stand up shower with high quality 5 stage spa filtration head, dual basins in an oversized granite countertop, and washer and dryer closet available for guest use. Laundry detergent provided. Our second bath has a spacious standup shower with the same spa filtration head, and a large storage cabinet filled with extra items like sunscreen and bug spray you may have forgotten. Large first aid kit, fire extinguishers in kitchen and on deck, and carbon monoxide and smoke detectors provided for the safety of our guests. Guest access You’ll have full access of the home except the garage and owners pantry. Large front yard for kids to play and plenty of deck space to entertain. For the safety of the guests we do restrict access to the lower backyard due to our wildlife populations. Other things to note Why have our nightly rates changed? Airbnb now charges booking fees to hosts instead of guests. To balance this, our nightly rates have been adjusted. While the nightly rate may seem higher, the total cost of your stay should remain similar since the guest service fee has been removed. We do not allow pets or smoking. Unregistered pets are subject to a $200 cleaning fee and smoke remediation fee is $500. This home is not suitable for parties or events. Children under the age of five are not recommended due to the elevated deck space and stairwell leading from the deck. There has been no child proofing done in the home.
