Natural man made cave home in Shivalik range of Garhwal Himalayas. The replica of ancient living system of rishikesh, which is very rarely seen in the international yoga capital rishikesh these days. A 200 yrs old only home in atta village comes with a single door entrance low height, dark room equipped with 3 single beds and typical indian foldable metal bed with a soft thin hand made cotton filled mattress. Best suited for yogis, sadhaks, wellness, retreat. An Authentic Himalayan homestay. Guests are welcome to engage in conversations about yoga, the Himalayas, local traditions, culture, and wildlife. If you're interested, you are also welcome to join yoga sessions or participate in guided nature walks. Ketan brings over 13 years of experience in organizing expeditions, spiritual yatras, cultural-philosophy tours, and yoga retreats across the Garhwal Himalayas. He is certified in Outdoor Leadership (twice) and holds a Wilderness First Aid Responder certification from Aerie. Other things to note Home Rules & Important Information • Check-in: 01:00 AM | Check-out: 09:00 AM • No Loud Music, No Parties – This is a peaceful retreat. Respect the silence and the natural environment. • Strictly Vegetarian Property – Non-vegetarian food, alcohol, and smoking indoors are not allowed. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas. • Pet Policy – Pets are welcome with prior notice. Owners must clean up after their pets and ensure they do not disturb the surroundings. Pet fee: ₹1000 per stay. • Additional Guests – ₹1000 per person per night beyond 5 guests (Max: 7 guests). • Meals – ₹300 per meal per person, traditional Himalayan food prepared fresh on request. Meals are typically served at 11 AM and 6 PM.), please pay meal charges before check out. We don't have poisonous spiders. If you find any in your room and you are scared, just let us know and we ll take it out. ✔ From july till September end, one of the wall is completely damp and it will dry up slowly. Please keep this in mind. ✔ Separate Indian and western toilet facility only. No showers. Only bucket bathing. ✔ Please bring your own water bottle for drinking and essentials like towel, soap, toothpaste with brush. Toilet papers are strictly prohibited. Food charges payable to the host, 300rs per meal per person (if you think its more please let us know, we can talk on it), please pay meal charges before check out. Its a participatory experience. So we ll cook, clean dishes and water plants together. We eat twice a day, usual timings are 10 am -12 noon (homegrown dal and local rice)and 5-7 pm (homegrown/seasonal vegetable and homegrown finger millet chapati). We use 100% homegrown spices, condiments and rare wild herbs from himalayas. Yogic food only. Please let us know your eating habits. Late dinner is not possible or confirm with the host or co host. In case host is not available because of emergency, a co host ll be here to assist you. Please note that we dont have power backup system but we have installed some solar powered outdoor lights. Use water responsibly. For saving water, we have reduced the water pressure of tap and faucet. If you have any interest in yoga, meditation, trekking, forest walk, nature, living or you would like to contribute, please feel free to let the host know as soon as possible. Please bring your own water bottle for drinking. Please bring your essentials like towel, soap, toothpaste with brush. Toilet papers are strictly prohibited. We provide bed sheets, pillows with covers, blankets. Never waste food. While cooking, please maintain cleanliness on LPG stove and kitchen area. We appreciate if one could participate in kitchen gardening, cleaning dishes, cooking, dusting in room and other daily activities. For morning yoga session, please let us know a night before. 60 to 120 min. The session ll cover the topics like what is yoga?, origin of yoga, foundation of yoga, asanas, relaxation, pranayama, mantra, meditation, philosophy. Let us know about your food or pollen allergic conditions, if any. Host usually eats twice a day, please let him know about your eating habits. Kitchen is available for use throughout your stay. We dont have any sign boards. For exact location, please contact host. Kukreti general store is the nearest landmark visible on map, from here take uphill route on right, personal 300 mtr unpaved road to reach dedicated parking space. home is 100mtr walk from here. Check in time is 11 am to 4 pm. Check out time is 10 am.
