Peaceful location in a small residential area with a sandy beach 200 yards away. Only 1 mile / 15 mins walk from Oban esplanade. Another 10 min walk to town centre. Spacious room on 1st Floor. Kingsize bed & ensuite shower/toilet. Spectacular, ever-changing seaview looking across to Mull. Kitchenette with kettle, toaster & fridge, exclusively for guests to make their own light breakfast, which is provided. Seated area outside to watch the world go by & the sun go down. Ample private parking. The space House is located in a quiet residential area, with the sea to the front and farmland/wildlife to the back. Look out for the deer, squirrels, otter, woodpecker and a wide variety of birds, as well as cattle & sheep. Only 1 mile from Oban esplanade or 2 miles from town centre, where there are a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars to choose from. Guest access Guests have the use of a small kitchenette at any time of the day, which includes a kettle, teapot, toaster, fridge, crockery & cutlery. Complimentary breakfast cereal, toast, yoghurts, fruit juice, tea & coffee available but guests welcome to bring their own. If weather allows, table/chairs outside in back garden to eat breakfast. Front patio is a suntrap in the afternoon and an ideal spot to watch the sunset in the evening. During your stay We are happy to help with any queries or give local information & guidance. Other things to note Walking into/out of town is approximately 1 mile, mostly flat, relatively easy and used by the locals regularly. But you have to be aware of the sharp bends and blind corners on part of the way and we wouldn't recommend walking in the dark. Taxis from town are readily available from the station.
