Araidh is a cosy real log cabin on the outskirts of Glendale, NW Skye. The cabin is situated on a very quiet dead end road, and has great views over the hills around Glendale and out to Loch Pooltiel. The space Araidh Log Cabin (Araidh is Gaelic for unique) is a real log cabin with rough unplaned logs, inside and out. The cabin is a short walk to the local shop and PO, Glendale beach and along the Hamera River towards MacLeods Tables. Neist Point Lighthouse is 20min drive away. Inside is open plan with double bed, kitchen area comprising microwave, small fridge, double infrared hob, kettle, toaster, pans, cutlery and utensils. Seperate shower room with shower, handbasin and toilet with douche. Towels and linen provided. There is a TV/DVD, WiFi and electric heating throughout. Your host lives on site, but your cabin is not overlooked. Use of efficient but elderly washing machine and tumble dryer in nearby building. Sorry. no pets or smoking in the cabin. The ceiling beams in the cabin are fairly low. (6' 2" / 188cm ).
