Get cozy and settle into this rustic space! This cozy tiny home is perfect for couples looking to get away from it all. Overlooking the scenic Needmore Ranch and featuring a working water wheel powered by the nearby Stephen's Spring, the Spring House Tiny Home is perfect for couples reconnecting with nature, accessing the nearby Illinois River, or relaxing with that significant other. Guests will have access to over 400 acres of private property to hike, explore, or view the local wildlife. The space The Spring House is indeed a tiny "tiny home" with just over 200 square feet of space. Upstairs the lofted area serves as the sleeping quarters with a queen size mattress. Downstairs contains the kitchen/living area plus a full bathroom with a shower stall. The kitchen has an electric countertop range, toaster oven, small microwave, coffee maker, blender, mixer, and crockpot. The refrigerator is a mini fridge. There are also pots and pans, cooking utensils, and various kitchenware. Guest access Guests will have access to over 400 acres for hiking, viewing wildlife, accessing the river, fishing (river or pond), or just exploring. Please bear in mind that this is a working cattle ranch, and as such you may see activities with tractors, other vehicles, and cattle around the property. If you go through any gates, please leave the gates the way you found them. They are usually closed or open for specific reasons. You are welcome to fish in any of our ponds, but you will have the best chance of catching fish in our big pond that has the floating pontoon dock. There is also a private home on the property with a gravel drive that is surrounded by a white fence. About halfway down the drive there is a cattle guard just before the point of where the yard of the home begins. Please don’t cross the cattle guard and enter the yard of the home, or enter any of the equipment barns. Feel free to roam the rest of property. If you have questions concerning property boundaries, directions, etc., please feel free to message us. Other things to note We are pet friendly, and pets are welcome to be off of the leash while you are roaming around the property with the following exceptions: 1. Please maintain control of your pets at all times. 2. If you leave your pets at the cabin while you are gone, we do ask that you keep them crated while you are away. 3. Please don’t allow them to chase the cattle. This is dangerous for the cattle and you as sometimes cattle will become aggressive around pets if they sense danger. 4. While in the Flat Rocks river area (northern end of the property), please keep your pets leashed while you are in or near that area. The Flat Rocks area is on the northern boundary lines of the property, and there are homes and properties very near this area that are NOT part of the ranch property. We have good neighbors, and we appreciate your help and understanding in keeping it that way.
