A warm welcome awaits at our charming cottage set in the countryside, 1 mile from the A199, 2 miles from the historic market town of Haddington and close to Scotland's Golf Coast, the Lammermuirs and Edinburgh (20 mins by car or train, 40 by bus). Our bright and spacious bedroom accommodates 2 guests in a king size or twin bed arrangement. There is a large and pretty private garden and on site parking. The space Our home is a very pretty rural property. It has a large garden and parking for 1 car. Our guest room, situated upstairs, offers a very comfortable king size bed (or twin bed arrangement). It has a view of the rear garden and fields across to Traprain Law in the distance. There is a separate shower room with a rainwater shower system and underfloor heating. Egyptian cotton bedding, fluffy towels, Scottish Fine Soap products, comfortable seating and tea/coffee making facilities are provided. Guests may also use our very comfortable sitting room with its wood burning stove and Bose blue tooth speaker. Guest access Our very comfortable sitting room with its wood burning stove is available to our guests, as is the outside patio area and furniture and downstairs cloakroom with wc and wash hand basin. (Our second bedroom can be made available at an additional charge.) During your stay We are on hand to assist guests with information on the local area including restaurants, transport, activities and places of interest. Other things to note As we operate as a bed and breakfast, guests staying for more than one night are expected to leave the premises after breakfast, returning no earlier than 4 p.m. Exception to this rule is by prior arrangement. A full breakfast menu is included and, wherever possible, we use locally produced bacon, sausages, yoghurt, etc, along with home-made products such as our own fruit compote, granola, muesli, bread and preserves. A vegetarian option is available. Housekeeping is carried out daily. As we have a young Border terrier, unused to having other animals in the house, we are unable to accommodate any dogs or other animals.
