Live in the ground floor of our historic townhouse from 1899 on a beautiful, quiet tree-lined street. You'll have your own space with its own kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and backyard! Close to Prospect Park, and very near the 2, 3 and 4 trains for quick access to Manhattan. There are many good restaurants and cafés in the area. We are happy to host families with children, and can lend toys, books, a crib, etc. We live upstairs so are often around to offer travel advice or to help out when needed. The space The apartment was gut renovated recently so everything is brand new! The kitchen features sleek modern appliances and leads out to our backyard for alfresco dining and bird-watching in the warmer months. The combined kitchen/living room space features a dining room table, pullout sofa bed (IKEA Nyhamn, with Queen mattress) and desk, in case you need to get some work done. The bedroom faces our quiet, tree-lined street - and we have blackout shades and curtains for complete privacy. The brand new bathroom is roomy and features marble tile floors. The whole place has a modern and minimalistic design style, using natural materials and with Scandinavian touches. Guest access You'll enter under the stoop into a hallway that is mostly yours. however we do walk through to collect the mail and to access the cellar. Other things to note We prefer to allow a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children in our listing but may occasionally make exceptions.
