The Lantern

You can claim this haven your own, even if just for a few days. Unwind, laze away and listen to birdsong all morning sipping hot coffee in the mist, or venture out into the trekking spots nearby, check out some great waterfalls nearby. Either way, you'll have the time of your lives. The space The Lantern gives you exactly the kind of stay you 're looking for. A spontaneous weekend getaway to help you recalibrate? - Done. An overnight cap to help chart your next wild destination? - Of course. A months-long retreat from the city blues, to rekindle creative spirits? - Without a doubt! The Lantern is surrounded by 4 acres of fertile farmland, and the cottage itself rests on the slope of a hill carpeted by a rich plumage of tea leaves. Atop the hill, you can feast your eyes on a magnificent stretch of lush green farmland, bordered on the horizon by cloud-peaked mountains. Downhill, you can get your hands dirty with plucking farm-fresh, purely organic seasonal vegetables, grown with utmost love by our dear caretakers. We also invite you to enlighten yourself with the understanding of how your beloved hot beverages come to life, by taking a peek at our coffee, tea and ginger crops. Our farmers would love to show you how :) The cottage itself is a comfortable 3-bedroom living space with plenty of room to accommodate whomever you would like to bring! Clean, freshly pressed linen and blankets await you in every bedroom, and our two squeaky-clean bathrooms come with hot water supply, and fresh towels. The relatively small (but cute) dining space is adjacent to a large kitchen, furnished with all amenities one would require to appease your hunger, with even the possibility of doing a barbecue or two in the backyard! Guest access The Lantern is easily accessible by a smaller paved concrete road, diverting from the main road (for a better understanding, please take a look at our map added in the photos). There is ample parking space for at least three vehicles, in the front yard. Larger vehicles, such as Tempo Travellers can also be safely parked in the premises. Other things to note In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic (or even otherwise), we always make sure to properly clean and sanitise the rooms at The Lantern, before and after your stay. We assure to help you enjoy a worry-free holiday, completely safe from the risk of Covid-19 contamination at our premises.
