Invent & explore multitude ways to play, dream & truly, just be. No need to do. The space Designed for everyday ease and comfort, this graceful home environment is also a guest house: restful, romantic or creative, private or expansive. Guest access Park in front of the house on the quiet, well-lit street, carry your luggage & bags to the front porch entrance. There is only one guest room in this home, move into your private bedroom & bathroom. There are hardwood floors & oriental rugs in each room, slippers are nice, if that works for you. Choose your preferred cozy places in common areas: living room, dining & kitchen area. Garden, deck & porches are designed for snacking, sitting, sunning or stargazing. In your room find blankets provided for chilly outdoor, evening cocktails or morning coffee. During your stay When possible I greet or orient arriving guests. Otherwise, guests enter on their own. Please text your approximate arrival time & any questions you have. Every guest has unique reasons for visiting Port Townsend. If you prefer solitude, there is ample room for privacy. Choose a comfortable spot any time in the shared common spaces. Hospitality, personal recommendations, local history & genuine or spontaneous interaction are fun, natural & pleasurable. I enjoy meeting guests & love to provide a unique atmosphere of kindness and acceptance. One private guest room & the bath are ready & set up for guest use. My working art studio & the living area for my grandson Angel are both located upstairs. My own rooms are in the ‘back’ of the house. Angel is interning at the local theater & you may enjoy meeting him in common areas. Other things to note Bring your own preferred food, cook & use dishwasher in the kitchen. One shelf in the fridge & counter space are dedicated for guest. Coffee & tea & snacks are available. Read & use the house guidelines. When I am away from my place during a stay, confirm by text that your arrival & departure have been safe & successful.
