Welcome to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Private one bedroom and one bathroom suite located in Asheville’s Haw Creek Neighborhood. We are within walking distance to a local coffee shop Penny Cup (0.6 m), restaurant and bars Creekside Tavern & The Whale Outpost (0.6 m). Conveniently located near Blue Ridge Parkway (0.5 m), Biltmore Estate (4 m), Golf (1 m), Shopping Mall (1 m), Highland Brewery (2 m) Hillman, Burial & Hi-Wire Breweries (3 m) and Downtown (4 m) The space Our space is ideal for couples or small families. The guest suite is located on the lower level of our home. The suite has a private entrance which leads into a main living area. The space includes one bedroom with a queen size mattress, built-in 4 level adjustable ceiling fan w/ dimmer switch, office desk w/ office chair, and walk-in closet. The bedroom has blinds but the main living area does not to allow more light into the lower level. The private bathroom includes a tub shower. Our home was built in 2020 and LEED Green certified. The private suite has its own thermostat and HVAC control for your comfort. The main living area includes a mini fridge with a small freezer, stocked Keurig coffee maker, exercise bike, comfy sofa, smart tv, dinette w/ chairs, and two extra lounge chairs. Our backyard is peaceful and includes chairs for guests to enjoy the outside space with fire pit and mountain view. On a clear dark night, our backyard is an ideal spot for stargazing so bring your telescope or binoculars. It’s usually dark enough here to see deep sky objects like Comets, Orion Nebula, and Andromeda Galaxy with a pair of small binoculars. Guest access One driveway parking spot is available to guests to the far left in front of the trash cans. The guest entry is around the house down the left side if you’re facing towards the house. A short stone walkway leading to grass is near the parking spot. You’ll see a fire pit patio and lower stone patio once in the backyard. Entry door is under the deck area. Key lock box is on the deck pole. Please feel free to contact us with any issues upon arrival. Other things to note All Sean/Shawn/Shaun get an additional discount. Please request before booking. ** Pets ** Unfortunately we cannot allow pets of any kind due to allergies. ** Kitchen ** Asheville city permits restrict short term rental properties. City rentals are prohibited from having a full kitchen, which means no cooking stove or microwave. ** Visitors / More Guests ** AirBnB requires all guests staying or visiting to be listed on the booking guest list. We ask for no additional unapproved guests or visitors on property without prior approval. Additional guest fee may be applied based on the request and number of guests. ** Parking ** There is one free parking space reserved for guests. Please do not bring additional cars or park on the street. ** Upper Level ** Myself, wife, and two kids live in the home above our guest suite. We come and go often but you may hear the children on occasion. The outside space is shared with guests. We do our best to be respectful and quiet, we request our guests do the same. ** Street Walking / Running ** We live in the Blue Ridge Mountains, so some streets are a bit hilly and steep if you're used to flat ground. Also be aware many streets in East Asheville lack sidewalks. If you're heading into downtown, West Asheville or the Biltmore area, we recommend driving or using a ride-share service for convenience and safety. City bus service is also available a block away if you’re not renting a car. ** Bears ** It is common to see bears on and near the property. They look very cute and cuddly but be bear aware! Do not approach them. Do not leave food outside or inside of your car. It’s important to lock all car doors and we request you lock and shut doors and windows of the suite when you are away or while sleeping. ** Early Checkin & Late Checkout ** If you’re in need of any early checkin time or extended checkout time, please include this request in your message when booking. If the guest suite is available for early checkin or extended checkout time, a small fee may be required based on the number of hours you’re requesting. ** Garden ** Feel free to enjoy our flower garden and small vegetable garden. We ask you only take 1 or 2 cucumbers or tomatoes when in-season. Quiet hours - 10 pm - 6 am NO extra guests allowed on the property at any time NO Pets allowed on the property NO SMOKING or VAPING of any kind inside or outside of the property
