An architectural home nestled among native trees and minutes to the beach, Makai is an eco-conscious retreat with modern amenities. The property sits at the end of a quiet street in tranquil Seal Rocks, backing directly onto national park and only 400 metres to beaches, Single Fin coffee van, and local store. Enjoy 3 spacious bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 2 sun-filled living areas, and large patios out front and back with BBQ and daybed for afternoon drinks. Leave inspired and refreshed! The space Spacious house on a quiet street backing directly onto national park. Note the bush setting means there will be bugs and insects but we stock coils and insect repellant and most windows have screens. Kookaburras visit regularly and you may glimpse the resident goanna up in a tree in the warmer months. Two bedrooms with queen size beds (one with ensuite), and one bedroom with a bunk bed and a single bed. Two living rooms, one with two sofas, dining table seats six, outdoor table seats eight. Rooms have ceiling fans or portable fans and portable oil heaters. Gas heater in lounge/dining area during the colder months. House relies solely on rainwater tanks. Water is run through a triple filtration system and pumped throughout the house. Water is safe to drink but there is also an additional filtered tap in the kitchen. Gas to the stove and bbq is supplied via LPG tanks at the side of the house. If gas runs out during your stay, please flick the switch from the empty tank to the full tank. Guest access Entire house. Carport available but note garage is locked. Other things to note Mobile phone reception is patchy in Seal Rocks and you won’t receive any signal on our street. Please view check-in instructions before you arrive. We have very fast Starlink satellite wifi to keep you connected and you can make wifi assisted calls if your phone is enabled. You might start to get reception at the top of the street but coverage is best as you walk down toward Boat Beach. Please bring your own bath/beach towels.
