Come spoil your significant other in this hidden gem in the city. Or just come to get a way and relax. Check out my guidebook for local things to do while you are here. Wether it’s a nice dinner or winter sports, I have a little bit of everything in my guidebook. The space Cuddle in front of your own private fire in the master suite or in your own private yard with fire pit. The bathroom is in your suite, with a petite stand up shower, sorry no bathtub. There’s a small kitchenette with a microwave, air fryer, toaster oven, coffee maker & hot plate. There’s a fridge with ice. Don’t worry about the condiments, coffee, tea. I’ve got you covered. There’s hot cocoa too! Snuggle in a cozy robe and slippers and enjoy! “History of This Unique Granite Cottage” This cottage was originally built as an art studio, a gift from her husband, for one of the leading artists in Nashua history. In the mid 1800’s, the beautiful colonial was the only home, on a small hill, overlooking downtown Nashua. In the early 1900’s, the cottage was built and art was taught while students sat in front of these many windows overlooking the horizon. Linna Flagg Pease was a highly motivated woman. She has been described as an energetic and dominating personality right up into old age. She was the first teacher of drawing in the school system. Considering the period when she was living, a remarkable aspect of Flaggs’ life was that she did not let marriage and motherhood keep her from actively pursuing her interest in art. One activity that Flagg was proud of was the beginning of The Good Cheer Society by a group of her pupils. Later, she served a term as president of this charitable group. After her children were grown, Linna and her husband turned over the large colonial to their eldest daughter, and renovated the art studio into a small cottage, were they lived the remainder of their lives. They celebrated their Golden Anniversary here. “The Nashua Telegraph” I would like to continue the legacy of this home and promote new artists, of all kinds. Come stay in this magical place and leave your business cards, maybe some art work, poetry, pottery, etc...for a guest to purchase or just enjoy. Artists will also be featured within my listing online. Thank you to all who participate in continuing to influence art in our lives. Guest access You are welcome to enjoy the fire pit yard. It’s all yours, equipped with a couple of chairs and a table. There’s firewood in a pile ready to go! Other things to note Hoop it up! Enjoy life. Don’t worry about making noise. Play your music or TV loud if you like. Let me know if there’s anything special you’d like me to do for your special someone...I’ll be happy to help. I have a extra amenities if you’re interested: s’mores delight & Toiletries X. I have it so you don’t have to carry it.
