The Farmhouse is located on our 75 acre horse & goat farm. Our family lives in the main house but this charming little farmhouse and original barn were built in 1940. It has been freshly painted and renovated while maintaining many of the original charm. It is decorated with family heirloom furniture, china, silver, crystal & linens for your enjoyment. The backyard looks out on the horse cattle pasture. You will love the “away from it all” charm, tranquility, and nostalgia of our little farmhouse. But you are only 7 minutes from NEA hospital, groceries, gas, & restaurants, 8 minutes from Arkansas State University, and 15 minutes from downtown Jonesboro. We have good cell service and our internet is via our Verizon Jetpack. It is typically good, but in the country our cell service can be unpredictable. If internet is critical at all times, we suggest you bring your own hotspot. We have a Roku TV in  the living room. You have free access to Netflix, Food Network and other apps that do not require a paid subscription.  Major networks may be viewed over the air by using the antenna. To access channels requiring a paid subscription other than Netflix, you’ll need to use your own accounts. You’ll have access to the front and backyard of house with outside table, chairs and a fire pit. We will greet you and give you keys to the farmhouse. You may see us and our dog Braiden around the farm but we will respect your privacy at all times. We will be happy to help you in any way. You can reach us by phone or text anytime during your stay. You will love this “step back in time”. It is beautifully charming but very shabby chic, added onto several times, farmhouse. It has gaps in the floors and ceilings, & cracked porches reflecting nearly 80 years of family raising & gatherings. But we keep it spotlessly clean by a professional housekeeper. Presently we use the farmhouse for different events: ladies book clubs, Bible studies, tea parties, luncheons etc. We have a ministry for adults with special needs and our girls meet every week here to wrap Sun Ridge Essential bath products, bake pastries , bag loose teas & make crafts to sell. Most of our items are displayed and for sale at the house. Except for walking the property, you will need to have a car to get into town. We do have Uber in Jonesboro now:)
