LaHacienda Chuparose is a place designed to welcome you. You will feel refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated. Whether you are a solo adventurer, business traveler, fun seeking couple, or family, Our traditional Southwest Adobe home will be a charming oasis for you in the Tucson Desert. The space Is a cozy, light, and bright room in our large ranch style home on 4.5 acres of horse property. Yes, complete with horses, Thunder and Fiona, who love to nibble apple slices from your hands. From the moment you enter the driveway framed by a mesquite wood fence, you are welcomed and enveloped in the beauty unique to Tucson. The Burnt Adobe and SW architecture of the house compliments the feel of the "Old West". With full length porches on both the front and the back of the house, you can enjoy our resident roadrunners, quail, hawk, Vermilion flycatchers and of course our hummingbirds for which the house is named. The house boasts many unique details including lovely knotted wood doors throughout, custom Spanish tile in all the bathrooms, and gracious SW carved door that ensure you have a wonderful view and can walk right out to soak up the sunshine. This charming room gives you plenty of room to relax. The large skylight provides ample natural light. The door to the front porch allows you freedom to come and go as you like but you will be tempted to stop for a while on the porch and take in the lovely mountain views and stunning sun rises. And we hope you have time to do that! Your private half bath is an extension of the real Southwest decor as it is completely done with vibrant Mexican Tile and sink. You have full access to a shared hall shower. We have made every effort to anticipate your needs and have stocked the bathroom with essentials. We have taken extra care to help you wake up rested and refreshed. The new mattress and box spring are high quality. The bedding is also new and selected with your comfort and satisfaction in mind. The room is uniquely keyed from the rest of the house to ensure your privacy. Wi-fi access is available throughout the house and on most of the property. La Hacienda Chuparosa has all the feel of being removed from the hustle and bustle of Tucson yet is minutes away from midtown Tucson or minutes away from the great outdoors of Sabino Canyon, and Mount Lemmon with Sky Valley Ski Resort at the Summit. Guest access In addition to your Charming Room you have access to the large backyard with pool, fire ring, table and seating for 6 on our screened in porch with ceiling fans to keep you comfortable. During your stay We are here to make your stay what you want. If you want privacy, you have it. If you would like to visit with us, we enjoy that as well. Please use us as a resource to help you enjoy Tucson to the fullest. We love sharing Tucson with guests. Other things to note We have a large dog named Max who stays with us and enjoys meeting new friends. If you'd rather not meet Max, he doesn't take offense. If you enjoy giving a furbaby a rub on the neck, he will take them all day long. You get to make the call.
