Lake of the Ozarks Cozy Lakefront Cottage

Our cute, cozy little lakefront guest house has water views from the main room of the house and both bedrooms. We are in a cove, just one house away from the main channel of the lake and next door to our main home. Single well covered boat dock is included. Boat ramp is located at end of our road. Great fishing area! WE ARE IN A RURAL AREA of the lake, NOT a touristy area! PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE BOOKING so you know what to expect! The space The space is small and cozy (approximately 600sf), providing room for a couple, or for a small family or small group of 4 or less. The house has been renovated, and has a back deck overlooking the water. The area is RURAL so it is typically more quiet and peaceful than the areas closer to Osage Beach. The water is definitely more calm around us most days so a great area for swimming, floating, and water sports! Keep in mind that we are in a rural area! We are not near grocery stores or shopping areas. There are several restaurants and bars on the lake accessible by boat and a few also accessible by vehicle, and one by foot. This also affects our WiFi - although available and working fine at times, at other times the signal strength can be weak or even nonexistent. We also do not have access to unlimited data at this time, so no ability for gaming or streaming movies. We do provide a DVD player and a selection of movies. MOST CELL PROVIDERS DO NOT GET SERVICE HERE! AT&T gets service occasionally at certain spots. NO PARTIES! Guest access The entire house is for guest use, as well as the deck attached to the house and the dock in front of the house. THERE IS A WALKING PATH BETWEEN THE DECK AND THE DOCK THAT IS USED BY NEIGHBORS. Other things to note -You will want to get groceries on your way in - we are in a rural part of the lake area and the closest SMALL town is about 20 minutes away with a gas station/c-store, small market and Dollar General; the closest town with a regular grocery store is about 40 minutes away. -There are a couple of bars in the area - about 5-10 minutes away by car or boat (one bar within walking distance), and a few restaurants about 5-10 minutes away by boat, but this is NOT a touristy area so there are no shops, grocery stores, or many restaurants around. -As mentioned in other areas of listing - LIMITED WIFI! The signal strength in this area can be weak or even non-existent at times but at times can work just fine. (Weather and other factors affect it.) Also, we do NOT have unlimited data so streaming movies and gaming is not possible! There may be NO cell service here depending on your service provider. -FISHING: LICENSE IS REQUIRED to fish; Fishing poles NOT provided. -NO PARTIES or GATHERINGS! -We have a small toddler cot available if needed for a small child - message to request. We also have 2 kayaks that may be available for guest use - please message me for info. IF USED, PLEASE KEEP THEM TIED UP SECURELY TO DOCK WHEN NOT IN USE!
