Quaint, rustic log cabin on the lake
Enjoy this beautiful, quaint “Red Log Cabin” right on Budd Lake. Great for a family trip, romantic getaway, or a golf, hunting, fishing, skiing, or snowmobile excursion. An up-north rustic feel, but partially refurnished with charming decor and some modern amenities: full kitchen, washer/dryer, air conditioning. Indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit, large deck facing lake. For use: yard and water games, kayaks, mountain bikes, and golf clubs. Inquire about renting our pontoon as well. The space The cabin is quaint, charming and rustic, but with some modern convenient amenities. There is plenty of room for a family. There are two private bedrooms, and two additional beds in the living room area. There is a small bathroom with a space efficient shower, and a full kitchen. Very comfortable and peaceful, with a beautiful wood burning fireplace inside. Large yard with a small private beach and a dock right on the lake. You'll have a lot of room for parking in a long grass/dirt driveway. Pontoon is available for rent as well. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire cabin. Other things to note Budd Lake is a 175-acre lake in Clare County. Wilson State Park, a 36-acre wooded area with 160 campsites, borders the lake with a sandy beach. A large fish population of bluegill, muskie, bass, pike, pan fish, perch and walleye inhabit the lake. Besides fishing, pleasure boating and water-skiing are also popular activities. A modern concrete launch ramp is located on the south end of the lake and mooring is allowed along the lake’s shoreline. There is ice-fishing in the winter, and plenty of hunting areas and golf locations nearby. There are several dine in and take out restaurants in town, as well as gas stations, a drug store and a grocery store, all less than a 5 minute drive around the lake.
