Set in a charmingly restored country farmhouse in Aroostook county located on 100 acre garlic farm and national wild field bird sanctuary. We invite you to sample a little of our hospitality. Also upon request meal service is available breakfast, lunch, Dinner, Talk to me if your wanting something for a loved one for a special occasion Also laundry service is available upon request Other things to note This sunny and spacious Mountain View room (the largest of the 3 second-floor bedrooms) has Anderson windows and storm windows as well and offers a lovely view of the Oakfield Hills DREWS Mountain at 1,500 feet above sea level and considered the foothills of the Northern Appalachian Mountains. This sunny south side room features a color scheme of forest green coral and blue beautiful Birdseye maple hardwood floor and lovely blue scatter rugs as white stucco walls and an overhead light. It is furnished with a queen-size bed, a maple rocking chair, and antique dark green sofa, solid maple dovetailed bureau with three large drawers for storage, a large desk with seven drawers and a wall-mounted Apple TV. WiFi is excellent. (223Mbps) ! There is also a small portable fan and a window size air conditioner available upon request. Each room is appointed with a selection of toiletries, and tissue holder with an ice bucket of bottled water, and stemmed glasses, fresh fruit bowl and flowers in season. There is also a wine bottle opener and churchkey. Bathing pleasure terrycloth robes and bath sheets are also provided. In the second floor hall there is a common area appointed with a refrigerator and separate freezer with ice cube trays; a coffee maker, french press, coffee carafe, filters and fresh ground coffee; an electric teapot with a large selection of tea; a two slice toaster and microwave with plastic cover; a food cover trivet and pot holders with a variety of plates, bowls l, cups, and glasses as well as flatware, napkins, paper plates and plastic cups; paper towels and dish soap, trash bin and basket for recycling; There is a can opener, sewing kit, toothpicks and assortment condiments. In the common area there is a landline telephone for (outgoing calls only) to the US and Canada.
