There are beach chairs, towels and coolers provided for your time on the sand. The space Close by you have your choice of Target, Aldi, super Walmart, Publix and other grocery stores. There's also 3 large shopping malls in the immediate area. The Fred Marquis Trail is 1 block away. This super smooth trail is a cyclists' dream as it was created along 46 miles of abandoned railroad tracks. It provides a unique, protected greenspace for walking, jogging, skating, and biking. You'll find Blossom Lake Park within walking distance. There is an exercise track, active basketball court and open field great for football/soccer or kites, as well as rest areas, water fountains and benches. There is a large pond with a water feature and LOTS of ducks! Take a bag of frozen peas to feed them and relax. Phase 2 of the new Seminole WaterFront park saw the opening of a public kayak launch. This will drop you into calm intercoastal waters that are teaming with wildlife. They have a state of the art play area, a paved walking trail and beautiful bathrooms.
