The house is situated on 4 private acres of natural beauty, with 360-degree views and dock for easy water access. Bring your boat to put in at the nearby marina and utilize our dock to discover the creeks, bay, and quaint towns of the Northern Neck. It has been completely remodeled into a modern bay house perfect for enjoying all that the Northern Neck & the Chesapeake Bay has to offer. A fully stocked kitchen is ready to cook meals and is open to the main living space. The laundry room is located off the kitchen and has a full-sized washer and dryer. The eating area has a dining table with four dining chairs and a dining bench, providing comfortable seating for six. A cozy seating area with a smart TV is adjacent to the dining space. Six sets of double doors lead from the main room to the wraparound deck. The main floor guest room features a king-sized bed with amazing views of Little Oyster Creek. There is an attached bathroom with a shower, note that this bath is also accessible from the main living space. The second-floor features soaring ceilings and panoramic views. The large gathering area is perfect for playing games or watching a movie at the end of a busy day of exploring. Two well-sized bedrooms with a shared full bathroom (with bathtub) are located off the living space. The western bedroom has a balcony overlooking Little Oyster Creek and features amazing views from the king-sized bed. The eastern bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a fun sleeping loft accessible by ladder. (By finalizing the booking, you are agreeing to hold the host harmless for use of the ladder and the sleeping loft.) Guest access You will have the entire house and property to yourself. Please me mindful of our neighbors and do not pass the fence onto their property. Other things to note We love dogs! Your dog is welcome if it is well behaved, house-broken, and non-destructive. Two dogs is our limit. Dogs must be discussed in advance. If you choose to board your dog locally, we can help connect you to nearby establishments. Our house is child friendly, but not child proof. Please be mindful of your children at all times. Be aware that this house is VERY near water. Use caution when using the dock. Paddleboards and kayaks will be available for your use. Swimming and use of any watercraft are at your own risk. Guests are required to wear lifejackets when using any watercraft. By finalizing the booking, you are agreeing to hold the host harmless for use of boats, watercraft and/or swimming area. We advise all guests to bring water shoes. No refunds or discounts will be offered due to circumstances outside our control, including utility/internet outages, weather events, or travel issues. We advise all travelers to purchase travel insurance. Please note that this home is surrounded by nature. If you leave food out and/or doors open then bugs or animals (especially fiddler crabs!), may find their way in and make themselves at home. We do frequent preventative pest control, but we need you to do your part to ensure our home stays pest-free. We do not give refunds for bugs and/or animals found in or outside of the property.
