Hawkes Point View is vintage 1930's wooden seaside cabin and provides a quirky, relaxed, holiday home for up to 4 people, in 2 bedrooms, plus a younger child's bedroom. A short walk to the beach, this sunny coastal retreat is tucked away on the edge of a well maintained family chalet site set among grass covered sand dunes. It has lovely views of St Ives Bay, Hayle estuary and the surrounding countryside. The ideal place to take some time out to relax and stop the clock! The space The Cabin is set in it's own little garden and has been extended and renovated from it's 1930's beginnings. It has a characterful, fully equipped, kitchen with a good size table for eating around, and views of Lelant over North Quay . A cozy, light living room with electric 'stove'. There is also a shower room, 2 double ( one standard and one small double bed size) bedrooms and a snug little room with a standard single bed for younger children. You can watch the sunsets from the deck at the front or there is a picnic table in the garden to eat outside. It's a short walk to the beach through the chalet site, the site is quiet with plenty of space, great for kids to have adventures. Fibre broadband is provided in the chalet. Bookings Saturday to Saturday, 7 nights minimum during most months, if the availability calendar shows the Saturday available it will free up the following week when selected. 3 nights minimum at other times. *Please note you will need to bring your own bed linen, as is traditional with these huts.. Electricity is provided by an economical pound coin meter. There is a steepish slope and steps approaching the chalet and so is not accessible for those with mobility difficulties, we are very sorry. Sorry no pets. Guest access The guests have the whole space to themselves. The chalet site has direct access to the beach and some small play areas for children. Other things to note Parking at the chalet is on the grass and guests will need to walk to the chalet down a short garden path. Hawkes is of a certain age and has lots of vintage charm, but please do be respectful of the old girl! Please inform us of any breakages and guests will be responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear. PLEASE NOTE- Bed Linens ( sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers) bath mat and towels are NOT included, you will need to bring linens for a double bed, small double bed and single child's bed with single duvet. This is usual for these chalets and duvets and pillows are provided.
