A beautiful quaint 19th century blue cottage, set at the bottom of the famous Gold (Hovis) Hill in Shaftesbury, Dorset. The perfect home stay for a relaxing countryside escape. Set in a wonderful quiet location just outside of Shaftesbury Town Centre (a very short walk up Gold Hill into the Centre). Ideal for couples, friends or if you're looking for a solo retreat in the Dorset countryside! 🐾🐶 Important: Dogs welcome, but please add them to the reservation. There is a £30 dog fee. The space The little Blue Cottage is a quirky, small cottage with lots of character. We have books for you to enjoy throughout the house and many plants which brighten up the rooms! Guest access You will have full access to the cosy cottage. Including a cosy living room with a 3 seater sofa and armchair & a beautiful bay window full of plants, a fully functioning kitchen with electric hob/oven, a fridge/freezer and a water filter jug. The bathroom is a good size with a beautiful vintage free standing roll-top bath, perfect for unwinding. Bathe in the Anespa Home Spa system (filtered & remineralised water! For a calming relaxation!) There is 1 double bedroom with a double bed, clothes rails and hangers dressing table and draws. There is also a small second room, with low down small double bed, good for children or another 2 guests. This room also has a great desk for anyone who wishes to work or be creative during their stay! Other things to note We provide free tea, coffee and oat milk. Some basic herbs and spices, oils etc are in the cupboard for basic cooking. Fire wood for the log burner is provided in the months of November - January for free. 🐾🐶 Important: Dogs welcome, but please add them to the reservation. There is a £30 dog fee for the deep clean that is required for when pets stay.
