Marshfront Suite downstairs @ the Sea Pear Cottage

Welcome to the Marshfront Suite at the Sea Pear Cottage! We live upstairs, which is a separate living area with its own entrance. You may hear the footsteps of our kids upstairs but it's otherwise set apart and private. Your suite is fully furnished and has beautiful views out to the marsh. It's a one-block, two-minute walk to the beach, and one-mile beach walk or bike ride to Center Street. Business license: LIC046666 The space We love this house and this part of Folly Beach. Apart from the Washout, it's the skinniest part of the island, so you get views across the marsh while also being a one minute walk out to the beach, and 9th block is a nice place to surf, especially for those who don't like to be crowded in the water. We have tried to provide everything we would want in the apartment as seasoned AirBnb travelers ourselves, and we are upstairs if you need anything else or just want to hang out! The suite has two bedrooms - one with a king size bed and another with a trundle bed with two twins. Maximum occupancy is four people. We may make an exception for a family of five that has a small child sleeping with the parents. But please ask first. • There are two pull-in parking spaces outside of our fence in the backyard. • Each room has a TV with Roku • There is high-speed WiFi throughout the house. Guest access Bring your boat! We have a slip at Mariners Cay marina available as a $350/week add-on during your trip. You're also welcome to reach out about the slip if you see this but stay somewhere else. We have beach chairs available for guests. Please do not let them get salt water on them. And please rinse the hinges and sand off after each use. BYO beach towels and umbrella or shade tent. Other things to note We use a local service, High Tide Cleaning, that provides their own towels and linens. They do not provide beach towels so BYO beach towels! Also, they are strict on check in/check out times so we are no longer able to offer early check in or late check out. They provide two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, and a travel size shampoo and conditioner. Please byo if you need more. Please note that the cleaning fee is the exact cost of the cleaning. If anything is not to your satisfaction, we appreciate the opportunity to let High Tide fix the problem versus taking a hit in a review. TV: Our Roku TVs are set to guest mode so that you can log into any service you want without concern that it'll stay logged in after your trip. Note that we no longer have cable. Parents of small children: We have a pack 'n play but BYO sheets. Please clean up/organize any of our toys your kids use before departure.
