The Nest at Sleeping Bear’s South Bar Lake

Enjoy the calm and beauty of the northern lower peninsula. M22 life awaits! A private dock on S. Bar, a fish filled quiet lake, that’s great for swimming, too. 1/2 mile paddle across S. Bar lake gets you to Lake Michigan’s Empire Public beach. Of course, the 1 mile walk or drive is also an option. Sleeping Bear Dunes Heritage Trail begins on our street! The infamous dune climb is just 5-1/2 miles away and the trail takes you right there. Grocer’s daughter chocolate shop is less than 1/2 mile. :) The space The “Nest” is prepared to let you relax. The kitchen has an oven and refrigerator with a sink over looking the fruit trees of the backyard. Living area is complete with a glider and pullout couch. The bedroom features a double bed, closet space and plenty of room for a pack-n-play or two for our younger guests. There’s a full bathroom with a shower and the basic toiletries. At the lower level you’ll find the laundry with washer, dryer and utility sink. S. Bar lake is at the west edge of the backyard where you’ll find the dock, fire pit and all the fish.
