As our guest, you will have access to three beautiful private lakeside parks nearby with many amenities. Unwind after a day of exploration with a game of pool. Relax in the hammock, play a board game or make it a movie night. Cook delicious dinner on the grill, then gather around the fire pit for marshmallows and stories. In the summer months, we provide both a portable air conditioner and a fan for each of the bedrooms. BATHROOMS - Master bathroom: Two sinks, shower, jetted tub. - Second bathroom: Sink, shower. - Towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryers provided. LIVING ROOM - Electric fireplace, 55" 4K Smart TV. - Recliner sofa, loveseat, coffee table. KITCHEN - Fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, cups, and glasses. - Hot water kettle, toaster. - Keurig coffee maker, drip coffee maker. - Refrigerator with water/ice maker, freezer. - Dishwasher with dishwashing pods provided. - Ground coffee, 12 K-cups, assortment of teas, sugar/sweeteners, creamers. - Kitchen bar with bar stools. - Portable cooler for trips to the lake. - Phone charger and charging cables. As our valued guest, we are pleased to provide you with a parking pass for one vehicle at three beautiful private lake side parks. You'll have access to two parks located on Lake Cushman and one on Lake Kokanee. These parks offer a wide range of amenities such as playgrounds, basketball, volleyball, and badminton courts, and clean bathrooms. If you need additional parking passes, they are available for purchase - please let us know in advance. Here are some exciting area attractions and their approximate drive times: - Golf enthusiasts can enjoy the golf course, which includes a driving range, pro shop, and golf cart rentals, located just 2 minutes away by car or a pleasant 15-minute walk. - There are also tennis and basketball courts in the same area. - The disc golf course is less than 2 minutes away. - Dining options include Nina's cafe, a coffee shop, and a convenience store, all located approximately 2 minutes away. - Hoodsport is only 5 minutes away from our home, offering restaurants such as Model T (American/pub), El Puerto De Angeles (Mexican), Burger Stand (Korean/burgers), and The Fjord Oyster Bank. - Hoodsport is also home to a couple of wineries, distilleries, a coffee/ice cream place, gift shops, and a grocery store with fresh produce and deli. - You can get fresh seafood directly from the Hood Canal waters at Hama Hama Oyster Saloon, which is about 20 minutes away. The Tides (American) is a small restaurant along the way. - The nearest Lake Cushman boat launch is only 4 minutes away. - Lake Kokanee private park is located approximately 5 minutes from our place. This park features a boat launch for small fishing boats and kayaks, a beach, dock, a few great fishing spots, a playground, and a basketball court. There is also a gazebo with BBQ grills and picnic areas. - The other two private parks located on Lake Cushman are 10 minutes and 17 minutes away, respectively. These parks feature beaches with swim areas (no lifeguards), boat launches, picnic areas and grills, volleyball and basketball courts. Be sure to stop by the Lake Cushman Lookout viewpoint along the way! - You can reach Olympic National Forest trailheads in just 10 minutes. The Big Creek Loop is a nice trail for everyone, and the Mt Rose trailhead is another 5 minutes west. - If you continue driving west along Lake Cushman for 10 more minutes, you'll reach the Olympic National Park (the Staircase area). - When you're in Hoodsport, be sure to stop by the Visitor Center for more information, guides, and maps because there are countless other attractions in the area that we couldn't possibly list here. - State parks in the area include Potlatch State Park, located only 10 minutes away. It offers plentiful shellfishing during low tides and great views of Hood Canal. Lilliwaup Tidelands State Park is 13 minutes away. - The closest "big shopping" can be found at the Walmart Supercenter in Shelton, located just 20 minutes away. When you make a reservation, you agree to the following rules. We kindly ask you to take a few minutes to read them thoroughly. We are happy to answer any questions you may have. *** OCCUPANCY *** The Lake Cushman Homeowners Association strictly enforces occupancy regulations for vacation rentals. Please do not exceed the maximum occupancy stated in the listing, which is six people. Parties, events, and large gatherings are not allowed. Violating the occupancy rules will result in immediate termination of your stay without a refund. *** NO SMOKING *** Smoking, including marijuana and e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited on the premises, both inside and outside. A fee of $250 will be charged to guests who violate this rule. *** NOISE REGULATIONS *** We ask that you observe quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am. Please be respectful to our neighbors, some of whom live in the area full time. *** SEPTIC SYSTEM *** All properties in the area, including ours, use a septic system. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper, even if the item says "flushable". Guests will be charged for clearing or repairing the septic system if it is damaged due to the disposal of non-flushable items. *** DOGS *** We allow one small dog, up to 20 lbs, subject to the host's approval, for a fee of $75 per stay. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds. If you leave your dog in the house while you're out, it must be in a crate. We have a crate available if needed. Please pick up after your dog, and use the doggie bags provided in the kitchen drawer or parks. *** GUEST PARKING PASS *** Please remember to return the parking pass to the house before checking out. The owner is not guaranteed to obtain another pass. For that reason, guests who lose the pass will be charged a fee of $200. *** PARKING *** Parking is only allowed on the property. Street parking is not allowed in the community. *** FIRES *** Fires are only allowed in the designated fire pit. Please do not burn anything other than firewood purchased from a store. Fires are not permitted when a burn ban is in effect, and we will notify you if that is the case. *** NO GLASS IN THE RECYCLE CONTAINER *** Waste Management does not accept glass in the recycling container, including bottles. Please bag any glass and dispose of it in the trash container. *** CAMERAS *** We have outdoor security cameras facing driveways. Tampering with security and network equipment will result in immediate termination of your stay without a refund. Thank you!
