Relax, unwind and reconnect with nature at this unique farmhouse get away. Queen bedroom with sheets, pillows and extra blanket. Private bath with towels, hairdryer and personal toiletries in case you forget. Enjoy the lake view from front porch rockers or swing of yellow, orange or blue koi fish. The sound of water from the fountain evokes a peaceful atmosphere. The space This is our full time home. It is a two hundred plus year old farmhouse that we have been restoring for 31 years. So it’s loaded with character and has a unique history that includes our family. The farm consists of 42 acres with two ponds. My husband is a bee keeper and at this time he is managing 8 hives. Guest access We do have an outdoor hot tub that is available for use. Swimsuit required. We supply beach towels. Please shower off lotions and perfumes before using. No glass containers of any kind in hot tub, court yard or fire pit are. Plastic only. During your stay This is our full time home that we share with our two Laborers. So we will most likely be here to welcome you and show you to your room. We are available for questions and to help in any way possible. We love meeting new people and hearing their stories, but are perfectly fine with anyone desiring alone time. Other things to note We live in a rural area and we have a well for our water supply and septic tank. A well is a great source for natural minerals that come from the earth but well water also has its challenges which could possibly include iron, though not harmful could at times have an odor. We do use a water softener. We share our home with two Labrador retrievers. Zoe is three and Judah is two. They will bark when you pull in the driveway but make friends real fast. They are gentle and well behaved. We also have a German shepherd outside. Wildlife you may see while you’re here are deer, turkey, geese, ducks, eagle or blue heron and a few rabbits and squirrels 🐿️ We do require a photo of the person or persons that will be staying in the room.
