Great kitchen, vaulted ceilings, fireplace, handmade doors, and a table set with a gas grill on the deck. A loft overlooks the living room. Room for 8 and just steps from the National Forest. Close to West Shore Cafe, Meek's Bay, & Chamber's Landing. Pet Policy - Owner approval of 1 dog of < 30Lbs. The space Just steps from Tahoe National Forest, this beautifully furnished Chalet Cabin offers spectacular views. Our 1850 sq. ft. cabin sits on a half-acre next to a greenbelt for immediate access to walking dogs, hiking, and sledding. We are on a flat road two blocks off Highway 89. Hundreds of fun activities and places of interest are listed in our Guest Book. The cabin has custom-made doors and vaulted wood beam ceilings throughout the cabin. Our living room has a couch and three recliners. On the opposite wall of the electric fireplace is an entertainment center with a 60” TV and about 150 books. There are a total of five smart TVs. The living room opens to a deck through two sets of sliding doors. The deck has a barbecue, chairs, and a table. Sleeping: all three of the bedrooms have queen beds with quality mattresses, and our loft has a daybed with a trundle. For children, we supply a Pak & Play, booster seat, dishware, books, games, toys & sleds. The kitchen is remodeled with granite counters plus all other eating, serving, and preparation items. The dining room is separate, seats 8 people, and has a gas fireplace. Guest access This is a vacation home - we do not live in the area. The whole home is yours. The cabin is within walking distance (10-20 minutes) of Chambers Landing - the beach and food. Hiking trails start next to our chalet cabin. The bike trails start at the end of our street. A separate Guest cabin is in front of the driveway and is not for your use. Other things to note Bears are in the mountains. If you are lucky, you will get to see one. Please remove anything that smells - (food, air fresheners), close the windows, and lock the doors of your vehicle. Shut all windows (they lock when shut), and lock the sliders and front door when you leave the cabin. Bears will try to enter through unlocked doors or windows when the cabin is vacant.
