Ideally perched overlooking beautiful Quaddick Lake, this property is located approximately 60 minutes from Boston, Providence and Hartford. Vacationing at the lake is easy. You will enjoy picturesque sunrises & tranquil surroundings. This vintage 1928 cottage has recently updated features ensuring you feel calm, comfortable and far away from the busy world. The space Our cottage is 632 square feet of comfort and cozy for 2 adults however we can host up to two extra children (age 2-12), upon request. Although you won't likely spend much time indoors, it has the all the amenities needed to ensure you don't have to leave the lake for much. Quaddick Lake is a clear and clean New England lake with a maximum depth of 18 feet. The property also includes a dock if you want to bring your own powerboat, fishing boat or jet ski - this is an ideal water sports lake - or you can use the provided canoe and tandem kayak to explore the lake while vacationing at the Cottage. Guest access This is a private cottage. The common living areas and waterfront grounds are fully accessible to our guests. The back porch, basement and detached garage however are secured for safety. Other things to note 2 adult and 2 youth USCG-certified life jackets provided for use with kayak and/or canoe. Paddles for use with kayak and canoe included. The lake floor is a mix of sand and stone. Firewood is not provided but available from local stores. Quaddick Lake is a 400-acre recreational lake. It is normally very peaceful but does allow powerboats and can get busy on sunny weekend afternoons. Fishing is permitted on Quaddick Lake with a current CT fishing license (available online or at local stores).
