The house where the master suite is located is an updated replica of a colonial manor house, surrounded by tropical trees, close to the Paraty mountains. It has a huge balcony with hammocks in the common area, a living room, a lounge with ambient music, a TV, a reading room, a garden and an orchard. It is located in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood and is a 10-minute drive from the city center, around 3.5 km. Nearby tourist attractions: several beaches 15, 20, 30 minutes by car; waterfalls 15 minutes by car. The space The house has a magical atmosphere and inspires tranquility and well-being. The balcony has 5 hammocks for resting, to the sound of good music and the singing of birds. There are benches scattered around the garden and tables on the balcony for breakfast in contact with nature. The living room, TV room and library lounge are cozy. The entire space, architecture and mood of the house reveal good taste and pleasure. The room offered is the master suite, on the upper floor, with an external balcony, clothesline, and cable TV in a flat-screen device. It is 34 m2, with a private bathroom, a double bed, a single bed and a closet with cabinets, a dresser and shelves. Utensils such as an iron and a hairdryer are provided if the guest requests them. Guest access All common spaces can be accessed by the guest, except the kitchen and laundry area. During your stay The owner couple lives in the house and will be available to meet the preferences of guests, whether for their desire for privacy or for their desire to converse. Tips on places, advice, guidance on transportation and safety will be given with goodwill and special attention. Other things to note We do not offer breakfast service included in the daily rate, but this can be made available in two ways: 1. The guest brings their food and drinks and the inn offers a space on the balcony with a table, chairs and utensils (electric coffee maker, dishes, cutlery and glasses). Food that requires refrigeration can be stored in the suite's minibar; 2. The guest has the option to have breakfast at the bakery and cafeteria, which is a 5-minute walk from the inn. The hot water from the shower and sink faucet is released automatically by simply opening the specific faucet, and should be mixed with the cold water, as it comes out very hot (solar energy). Wireless internet must be set up according to the password provided. Paraty is a city that requires visitors to take some precautions, such as using mosquito repellent, especially in places with nearby vegetation, such as the house. Electric repellents are provided at night for use in the rooms. The house dogs and kitten are extremely sociable and can circulate through the garden and on the balcony. Therefore, the accommodation is recommended for those who like the presence of animals. All the rooms in the house are super ventilated and sunny, ideal for people with allergies; in addition, there are no curtains or carpets in any of the rooms. This is important because Paraty is very humid, so much so that many houses have mold problems. Therefore, we recommend that the windows and balcony doors be left open when the suite is unoccupied. The bathroom has natural ventilation and a hygienic shower; the shower water is heated by a solar panel.
