You could start your day with a walk in the lakes, have a hearty breakfast in the neighbourhood (recommendations galore), explore the market in Gariahat or Dakshinapan in the evening, stop for a cuppa at one of the many tea shops and cafes in the area, or walk through the narrow bylanes and take in the city at night. If it's the indoors you prefer, just ask for anything you need delivered home. We have several books you can borrow and are always up for a chat. ps: I do not live in Kolkata.
