Yellow Cottage was built around 1895. It retains most of it's original features with high, wood ceilings, original windows and trim. Second floor bedroom has an angled ceiling, at 6 .5 ft tall in center. The house is vintage with basic comforts for sleeping, bathing, cooking and wifi for internet connectivity. The front porch has 2 chairs to view the eastern horizon for sun rises and moon rises. And, a large agriculture field locally known as the Big Field. Guests have access to the entire place. The Yellow Cottage is located on a residential street across from the "Big Field." It is about a half mile to the edge of "downtown." In between are some historic buildings; Greentree Tavern House, Amouroux House and Bequette-Ribault House.
