ALOHA Y'ALL & welcome to FLOWERTOWN CHARM FARM! Our 1870's Historic Farm Stay is in the Heart of Summerville & we would love for you to come to stay with us! THE NIGHTLY RATE INCLUDES THE QUEEN BEDROOM & SUNROOM, WITH GUEST BATHROOM AND SLEEPS UP TO 3 PEOPLE. QUEEN BEDROOM-Has a comfy Queen size bed with Cozy Earth bamboo sheets and a window over looking our mini farm animals. There is a vanity/desk, as well as a cedar chest with extra blankets and pillows. This room has its own door to the hallway, but also has the adjoining door to King Bedroom (which will be closed if you rent this one room), and also the glass door to the sunroom. SUNROOM-The adjoining newly refinished sunroom has a cozy sectional with a TV hooked up with Roku (Hulu, Netflix, & Amazon, NO cable). The sunroom is bright and airy with 6 windows and it overlooks our mini-farm backyard. Guests may couch surf on the sectional in the sunroom if they wish, it has Heat/AC and a ceiling fan, but still may be warmer/colder depending on the time of year. We have extra pillows and blankets for the couch as well. There is also a guest mini fridge and microwave in the sunroom. GUEST BATHROOM-The newly restored guest bathroom is located in the hallway just outside the guest bedrooms. The guest bathroom has a gorgeous antique clawfoot tub/shower with lace curtains, antique vanity, fluffy white towels, shampoo/conditioner/and a sample of our homemade goat milk soap we make here on our mini-farm. This guest bathroom is just for you, not shared. NEED ONE MORE BEDROOM? Note: We no longer serve breakfast, we have gotten too busy with the farm in the mornings. We are a Farm Stay not a Bed & Breakfast. URBAN: Although once upon a time this was a countryside farmhouse, the town of Summerville has grown and built up around our home, and we are only 1 of 2 remaining farms left inside the town limits. We are right in the middle of Summerville. So we are definitley an urban farm, meaning we live in a busy area, are close to everything you need literally across the street), and you will hear the occasional siren along with our rooster. That why we like to say we are city in the front, and country in the back! You can see a map of our area in one of our pictures. THE MINI-FARM: Guests Must Love Animals! We have an urban mini-farm of dwarf goats, 2 dozen-or-so chickens, 2 dogs, beehives, a giant tortoise, a fluffy giant bunny, and barn cats. We have been told we have some of the friendlist animals you can meet & snuggles and spend as much time as you want with! We also host Goat Yoga here on most Saturdays (except in July, August, January, & February, no classes)! Our animals do like to greet the morning, especially our rooster, Blue, and hens singing their "egg song". We have sound machines in each room if this should bother you. The 3 fluffy dogs do live in the home with us. They will bark occasionally when folks enter the house and meeting new people, they're just doing their job! We do not allow the dogs around toddlers. Our home also has breakables and isn’t too childproof with the steep stairs, so please consider all this before you book with us. MORE ABOUT US: We want your stay with us to be relaxing & enjoyable! SHARED SPACES: -second floor has all the bedrooms in our home, including ours, so the hallway is shared with us. -You’re more than welcome to use our dining room to eat meals. -living room with chaise lounge & fireplace -huge front porch w/rocking chairs & porch swing -parlor with pool table -visit and snuggle the farm animals! Other things to note Our home was built in the 1870's so it has had some major renovations, and is a fixer-upper that still needs some! We try to take on most of these renovations ourselves so sometimes you may see one of our projects we are always working on :) We also clean with green cleaning products throughout our home.
