The house is comfortable and spacious, with a big garden, providing an oasis of privacy to relax, in an idyllic location, perfect for family holidays. The South West coast path is a 2 minute walk and the best beach, pubs and cafes are a 2 min drive. Our family have lived at this cherished family home for 75+ years and look forward to welcoming you. Guests have sole use of the south and west lawns, to relax, unwind and enjoy the beautiful ocean and coastal views, with stunning sunsets. There are two outdoor dining areas, on the west lawn and the south facing, sun trap patio. The garden is BIG with plenty of space for families to enjoy outdoor games such as football, rounders, boules and is well established with trees, palms, willows, bamboo, flowers and a small nature area, which is home to birds and rabbits. Widemouth Bay beach, has been received The Blue Flag 2026 award, due to its exceptional water quality, pristine beach conditions and facilities. This renowned surfing beach is a 15 minute walk or a two minute drive and is lifeguarded daily, during the summer months, with cafe and toilet facilities. We provide a free beach car park pass, for the duration of your holiday, for one car. The southwest coast path and a local pub are only a two minute walk from the property. The town of Bude is a five minute drive, with an eclectic range of eateries and shops, plus a fabulous sea-pool and two Blue Flag 2026 awarded beaches at Summerleaze and Crooklets. This is the perfect base, for days out, further afield, as the property is located less than a mile from the A39 and I have listed many places to visit, on my AirBnB. lol Guest access Guests have a private entrance. Parking is available for two cars at the top of the south facing lawn. Other things to note Please note that the owners live in a smaller, adjoining property, to the rear of the house. This is a split level property, with three steps, leading from the kitchen to the rest of the house. We provide a travel cot but not bedding. The property is situated next to farmland and livestock and as such, we regret that pets are not allowed. Smoking is allowed in the garden but not inside the property. Gardeners will be attending 1-2 times a week during your stay. Sorry, no hen or stag group and no more than six adults.
