Catskill Cube Stargazer’s Paradise

If you are looking for an experience that combines comfort and modern amenities, closeness to nature, and ecological soundness, then look no further. Our modern cube-house is situated in a private meadow on our property and includes a kitchen area, queen-size bed, outdoor hot shower rooftop deck for stargazing, and private composting outhouse house. Cell phone phone service is available through Verizon and AT&T. T-Mobile is hit-or-miss. The space Our goal was to create a truly unique experience. Our cube house is situated in a beautiful meadow with bordering forest and an abundance of wildlife. It has a glass roof over the comfortable queen-size bed for viewing the stars, and wrap-around windows with a view of the forest. The rooftop deck places you in the treetop canopy where you can see the span of the meadow and the stars in the sky. You shower in a private outdoor hot water shower; if you have never taken a shower outdoors, it is a wonderful experience! We offer a simple and functional working kitchen that has an induction cooktop, microwave, fridge, and coffee press. We supply pots, pans, utensils, dishes, silverware, shampoo, soap, linens, and towels. The composting toilet is situated in a private building just steps from the Cube. The toilet saves water (and the planet) and is odor-free and surprisingly comfortable to use. There is heat for colder days in the fall, and winter and plenty of ventilation for the warmer months. We also offer a BBQ grill and fire pit. Pick up charcoal and firewood before coming. But firewood can be gathered on the property if needed. There are trails on our property for you to explore, for birdwatching, or just for being in nature, as well as hundreds of miles of State and County trails in the area. The Delaware River recreation area is nearby if you want to take a lovely drive or spend time rafting, canoeing, or exploring cute towns. Guest access The house, shower, and toilet room are all yours and are located on a private space on our 15 acre property.
