Elderflower, our spacious modern country home, is ideally located - central to the best amenities of the region (close to Killington, Pico, Lake Bomoseen and book-ended by 2 country-club golf courses within 3 miles.) Guests can enjoy an oasis of privacy and comfort on the 3-acres property, while having easy access to downtown Rutland shops & eateries. As of late summer, we gave our welcoming home a refresher w/ all new furniture & decor. The space Our high-ceilinged country home is perched on 3 acres of verdant land and has much to offer for all seasons. Features include a backyard enclave with an in-ground pool surrounded by panoramic mountain views (open only during summer months) and a BBQ area and fire pit for s'mores and cool nights; a private master suite on the first floor with access to an outdoor bistro set for morning coffee and afternoon tea; two additional bedrooms on the second floor and a bonus bedroom that comfortably sleeps two; cathedral ceilings in a well-lit spacious great room ideal for reading and napping; living room that is anchored by a stone fireplace and a 75’ Samsung smart TV; a well-equipped kitchen with a six-burner stove and additions, e.g. Keurig coffee maker, air fryer, microwave, Ninja blender, All-Clad cookery, etc.; 3.5 bathrooms and laundry room with washer/dryer/iron/ironing board. Guest access Our guests will have exclusive access to the entire house, swimming pool, and surrounding outside areas. We have a small studio apartment with a completely separate entrance above the garage that is used by our housekeeper so you may occasionally see her car in the driveway. Other things to note Like many swimming pools in Vermont, ours is unheated. As a result, the water may be refreshingly cool!
