Per the City of La Quinta: No music, audio, or amplified sound may be produced or reproduced outside at any time day or night. Strict City-wide quiet hours beginning at 10p still apply. This house is cozy and spacious. Living room offers an flat screen TV including premium channels cable (Showtime, HBO, etc.) and a huge comfortable sectional. Kitchen offers basic cooking supplies, oil, seasonings, and coffee! The master suite features a large cal king sized bed and stunning backyard/mountain views along with a private bathroom. Bedroom #2 offers a Queen size bed and Bedroom #3 has two twin beds with a flatscreen tv, Bathroom #2 is in the hallway. All bedrooms have giant top-to-bottom mirrored closets. Living room large sectional sofa can sleep one or two as well. Our home comfortably hosts 4-6 people, but can host up to a maximum of 8 guests based on City Guidelines & home size - we do recommend capping group sizes at 6 for comfortability & working within City of La Quinta Noise Requirements. The back yard is a great place to relax and hang out. Afternoons receive early shade from the mountains and biking/hiking/walking trails are right behind the home (trail runs top to bottom of the cove). Propane BBQ provided along with a washer & dryer. Pool and spa! (Pool is saltwater and roughly 5ft at deepest point, 12’x20’) One mile away from Old Town shopping and dining. Rent bikes or bring your own- you can even ride to Coachella and Stagecoach! Close to world class golf, tennis tournaments, music festivals. Twenty minutes to El Paseo shopping and thirty minute drive to downtown Palm Springs. Five miles to the polo fields. ***Disclaimer: Please note that this home sits against an amazing natural backdrop, and desert nature (insects, critters, roadrunners, geckos, etc) is a special part of the scenery!***** Guests can have access to the entire home except for a supply closet, pool equipment, and the garage. Host will do a quick walkthrough of the property with the guest upon arrival to go over house & city guidelines and to sign rental agreement based on those guidelines. Usually takes about 5-10min. Host is always available to answer questions or assist the guest with anything they might need! Walk to Old Town LQ for coffee, shopping, lunch/dinner. Hike the trail that is just out of your backyard (miles and miles of on and off trail hikes). Ride your bike to Coachella, Stagecoach, Desert Trip! Walk, Bike, Uber, Lyft, Taxis, bus stop....tons of options! For this property, we can host 8 people max - the number of guests at the property will need to match the number listed on your reservation and no more than those 8 people will be allowed on the premises during your stay. There are no exceptions to this. Please keep this in mind when booking! While we can host up to 8 guests, our home is best suited for 4-6 guests max - Per the City of La Quinta, starting July 15, (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) : "(c) No Sound Amplification Allowed At Any Time. Notwithstanding provisions in LQMC Section (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , Subsection (E), to the contrary, no radio receiver, musical instrument, phonograph, compact disk player, loudspeaker, karaoke machine, sound amplifier, or any machine, device or equipment that produces or reproduces any sound may be used outside or be audible from the outside of any short-term vacation rental unit at any time." - Renter will be responsible for any and all fines, citations, violations of City of La Quinta guidelines & executive orders, as well as any lost revenue from a suspension caused by a violation of a city guideline or executive order. These amounts have the potential to go well above the cost of guest’s reservation amount. Fines are $ (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , but lost revenue from suspensions, hearing fees, etc can go well beyond this. - Strict quiet hours begin at 10pm. Guests can be outside during quiet hours, but must be extremely conscious of noise levels and respectful of neighbors. (Accepted City of La Quinta decibel level after 10p is equivalent to a gentle breeze). - Parking must be in our driveway or in front of our property, no parking allowed in front of neighbors’ homes (city ordinance). The garage is used as storage for home-owner and is not accessible by guests. Roughly 4 parking spots available (2 driveway 2 in front of property) - 4 cars max - Ride your bike (or rent a bike in Old Town) to Coachella, Stagecoach, Desert Trip, Old Town LQ and more!!! Views, views, views and a totally convenient location! Pool, Spa, & Lights Controlled Remotely: - Pool/Spa Heating (Only one can be heated at a time): Reach out to your host to discuss pricing. Spa heating times will have to be decided upon by time of check-in. Pool can take up to 15 hours to heat up during colder months, so please plan & discuss with Host in advance! (Maximum 84F for Pool & 102F for spa) - Pool lights can be kept on past 10p (start of City-wide quiet hours) if guest(s) are extremely conscious of noise levels while outside. Latest pool lights can be on is Midnight - Gardeners (typically Monday), pool cleaner (typically Wed and Sat), and trash service persons (typically Tuesday) do help maintain the property - you may see them on the property during your visit. They are not there to interrupt your stay, but simply to help keep the property looking beautiful for your trip! - Water in the desert has a higher mineral density (hard water), causing it to react with certain hair products/colors & has a higher likelihood of turning some hair types temporarily green.
