In the backyard shed, you'll discover an array of entertaining outdoor games suitable for kids of all ages. And for the grown-ups, there's a lovely hammock beckoning for some blissful sun-soaked relaxation. Venturing upstairs, you'll discover the master bedroom, where a cozy queen bed invites you to snuggle in and unwind. Meanwhile, for the little ones, there's a second bedroom just across the hall featuring two twin beds. The kids' room is stocked with books and a plethora of games to keep them thoroughly entertained. In both bedrooms, ceiling fans provide a refreshing breeze on warmer nights since the home doesn't have air conditioning. To kickstart your day on a high note, a luxuriously remodeled bathroom with a rejuvenating shower awaits you. A beautifully renovated kitchen beckons you to kickstart your day with a delightful cup of morning coffee or tea, and it's fully equipped for crafting scrumptious breakfasts, lunches, or dinners. Should you fancy an alfresco culinary experience, a generously sized backyard griddle awaits your culinary prowess. Alternatively, you can bask in the comfort of deck chairs or lounge on the outdoor sofa while your meal simmers, all while savoring the enchanting view. Keep an eye out for the myriad of birds and squirrels that frequent the area, adding a touch of nature's charm to your surroundings. On the main floor of our cozy retreat, you'll discover a newly upgraded bathroom with a convenient shower and a dreamy bedroom featuring a plush queen-sized bed that'll make your stay extra comfy. The living room is all set up with stylish designer furniture, including a super-cozy sofa, a pair of ultra-comfortable chairs, a rustic wood-burning fireplace to set the mood, and a smart TV for your entertainment. And, of course, there's a relaxed dining spot, a fully equipped kitchen for whipping up tasty meals, and yet another bathroom with a shower for your convenience on this level. Feel right at home with our smart TV; you're welcome to log in to all your favorite accounts and enjoy your preferred entertainment. Our high-speed internet covers the entire house, ensuring seamless connectivity. For a change of pace, take pleasure in some quality time with our collection of board games, a selection of books, or puzzles throughout your stay. Important Things to Note: Lake Arrowhead is a private lake and has been restricted to OWNERS ONLY until recently. We are excited to offer lake passes to our guests. Instructions will be given at check-in! It requires a trip to the ALA office to obtain some wristbands and then you'll be allowed access. This access includes beautiful trails, Tavern Bay for beach time and bathing and Peninsula Park. Unfortunately, boats, kayaks and other water vehicles are prohibited by STR renters. Some other great ways to enjoy lake views are by visiting the Lake Arrowhead Village or MacKay Park. One of our favorite ways to enjoy the lake is by taking a trip on the Arrowhead Queen Tour Boat. It's very common for the captain / boat guide to give children a chance to steer the boat! **NO PETS PLEASE** We have a strict no pet policy. We do love our furry four legged friends, but in an effort to maintain the condition of our cottage and respect all guests and varied allergens, we must hold firm on this policy. Bringing pets into the cottage will result in additional fines and Airbnb will contact you. Any pet hair/urine/feces found ion the beds, furniture, rugs or yard will result in additional fines at the renter’s expense. No parties are allowed at this location and quiet hours are between 10:00pm-8:00am. This is a non-smoking property (including vaping). Lake Arrowhead is highly vulnerable to fires. If you must smoke, please do so on the pavement in front of the property and dispose of items responsibly. Thank you. PLEASE NOTE* There is no air-conditioning at the property, we have ceiling fans in all the bedrooms, but if you are someone that needs AC, then you may want to consider a property with AC. The cottage does not get hot unless the temp is over 90 degrees.
