Sandhead (Scotland's little secret gem) Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The massive sandy beach is just footsteps away right in front of our home. People come from miles around to view Luce Bay from Sandhead. The village benefits from a great pub restaurant Tigh na Mara. There is also a well equipped shop/post office. The local area offers great golf courses, top fishing, beach sports, and great walks. Stranraer 7 miles away has supermarkets and swimming pool/slides. The space Magnificent sea view from the living room and master bedroom. We have 3 bedrooms 1 of them on the ground floor. A shared walk in shower room is also on the ground floor. There is an enclosed garden to the rear of the property which gets the sun in the afternoon. The new kitchen is equipped with cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster and cutlery. Guest access all areas Other things to note Bookings are Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Saturday unless agreed with us beforehand. We can sometimes accommodate shorter visits between Saturday to Saturday. Lovely port villages of Port Patrick and Port Logan are worth visiting. Local Golf courses include Stranraer, Luce bay, and Port Patrick. Fishing includes Sea/boat, fly, pike and beach fishing for bass. Ferry to Ireland for a day trip or see the titanic experience. there are many local botanical gardens. You are in the best place though with miles of sandy beach and coastal walks soon as you step out of your front door
